Dr. Daniel Marcucci: Virginia Tech Master of Natural Resources Faculty

Virginia Tech Master of Natural Resources program faculty member Dr. Daniel Marcucci introduces "Sustainability Systems: Living in the Biosphere," one of the five core courses in the online program.
This course examines essential local and global systems, such as food, water, soils, land, energy, mineral resources, cities, trade, climate, and others. Then, as a group, students explore the impacts of human actions.
"Sustainability Systems: Living in the Biosphere" is about creating a professional eye that can see the supersystem called Earth and gain tools to create virtuous environments.
Dr. Marcucci has been teaching in the Master of Natural Resources Program since 2014. His specialization is large landscape planning.
