I put the clipless kit on my Ultimate and it's fantastic!! Love it. Just be really ... really careful when placing the guides so everything lines up. :)
@@LyroLife your own words were “Traxxas never stops innovating” Doing the same thing over and over again is not innovation, this is the same truck just with the technology that was developed on the crawlers years ago, not innovation. I absolutely love Traxxas, but when everything is some variation of stadium truck, touring car, or crawler, it really limits the variety. Traxxas could absolutely design some thing to compete with the MST RMX 2.0 at least. We also still don’t have a factory RWD drift car with clip-less body mounts that aren’t magnets, and most magnetic set ups are aftermarket anyways.
Why should Traxxas 'innovate' a platform that's already proven not to be realistic to drive and enjoy? True Rear wheel drive drifting might work for vehicles driven from the inside, but anyone that is already familiar with radio controlled vehicles know that AWD/4WD is the only way to go. That's why nobody makes a RWD drift car at all.
@@skeetermcswagger0U812 this is exactly why Traxx needs to make one, because nobody knows about it except the diehard drifters. Look up Sakura D5 or MST RMX 2.0 Real drift cars are not AWD, they are RWD.
@@unnamedracer9757 Yeah I hear what you're saying, but it's a very narrow margin of consumer that would truly want to challenge themselves above and beyond learning how to drift well in the first place. I remember back when on-road racing was the big craze for a while so Kyosho or Tamiya came out with some front wheel drive on-road cars and although it was a cool idea and they sold it didn't maintain popular demand.
What I don’t like about clipless bodies is it makes it hard to be able to go down to a hobby store and pick up a proline body that you want to paint yourself 🤷🏻♂️
Y'all need to calibrate your GPS speedos 😂😂😂😂 I love your models but like fr why advertise it as 60+ when literally everyone gets 55 consistently with the exact setup you recommend for 60+ Like it's cool bro I've clocked my xmaxx at 47 which is plenty fast enough but the box says 50+ so just quit lying
@@jessejames2546 XRT too, mine has come off a grand total off one time after a nose landing from about 8m high, and it didn't even come all the way off lol great design.
I’ve never had a Traxxas but this is the one that I’d like to get.
Can't go wrong with a Slash really, great choice.
You’ll like it! I have the Ultimate, they didn’t have this one in stock. I plan on converting to clipless, but the body is shredded now
@@FRSNinja_007 Lol it be like that, did you strengthen it? I do the scrim tape and shoe repair glue thing, works pretty well on the XRT and UDR
Check the rustler vxl before
I got the 2WD slash in the blue color I love it but traxxas has a lot of options when it comes to slash 2WD,4WD,Vxl,ultimate
slash is the best RC car EVER!!
TRAXXAS ROCKS, thanks for playing the heavy metal guitar music too! rap kills the whole video for me
Xmaxx/slash hybrid!

The greatest RC became even better. Traxxas never stops innovating.
never stops innovating is a bit too much lmao
@@Adrenaline.addict did you ever have more videos than 1 on your channel? i am wondering because thats a lot of subs and views on your channel.
Still waiting on a Traxxas brand RWD drift car, seems like it could be fun and would bring drifting to the main stream.
[edit]
I CALLED IT!
This will never happen lol

Wow this looks much different than my slasy xl5 2wd brushed, both my batteries died 😂
this song is pretty similar to Jeff Hardy's theme song 😂
i have the one witht the clips and idk if its just my slash but mine has a lot of problems with overheating and it just breaks alot
Really? That sucks! What part(s) breaks?💁♂️
Extreme hd kit and lcg chassis and im sold lol Centre diff and sway bars should come standard 👍 Im a fan though lol
Wow Amazing ! ❤❤❤
Great video. Where was it shot? The location looks epic.
Thats in Riverside County, CA. They used to test rockets there in the 80s.
How much would it be?
599€ un Europe
Really that’s expensive
U.S, about $430
😱
cool! slash is my dream rc car but they are soo high in price for canada
Can I buy parts to make my Slash vxl clipless?

Nice 👌😎
Why does my slash ultimate 4x4 spluttering when I full throttle on 3s? It's no cogging. It's rapidly intermittently cutting out. So fn annoying 😢
Hey Traxxas where do I order the clipless mount kit for my new Slash Ultimate? I'm in Australia. thanks.
I got this
Cool car but I would say the Sledge is better.
You're not wrong. But also in a different class/price range. For the money, slash is a super fun truck to drive.
On rock or road speed is key
Slash the Ferocious trophy truck races for the finish Ignoring all obstacles
4 times the power
4 times the Truck
Topppppp similar my rc rally😂
Y’all need to make a crawler that can also go fast
Why? 🤨
They kind of did with the summit
@@DeejayPozE yeah but they should make a bigger one
@@LucasOilRC are you taking about the mini or the 1/10 one?
Day 83 of waiting to traxxas to release the Bandit 4x4 BL2S.

No, it’s a different design.
I think I would rather have clips tbh🤷♂️
Make a new mini car
1/16 rustler 2wd and 4wd
👍😁😎✌️
Traxx lost their touch…
The most overpriced brand is still over priced
Big facts
big fact right there
i cant believe a slash 2wd if 600 $, isn’t it? or 4x4 im not sure but thats a lot of money
We get it bro, you're poor.
