  • Aaron Rodgers has reportedly been so upset with the Green Bay Packers that he has told people within the organization that he does not want to return to the team next season. Several teams have reached out before and after this report, but so far Rodgers remains in Green Bay. It’s also being reported that the Packers did offer Rodgers an extension. Hear what Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have to say about Aaron Rodgers' frustration with the Packers' organization.

    There’s some massive egos in the Packers front office. It’s like they’re insecure over the fact that Rodgers is the only reason they’re not 5-11 every year. They’d rather run the entire franchise into the ground than allow him to take most of the credit for their success. They’re in for a rude awakening when he leaves.

      @Genycis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you on that. I became a fan when they were underdogs and had Sterling Sharpe as WR and didn't have a solid QB at that time. Eventually they got Favre and when things turned around, that made me enjoy them even more and remain a loyal fan. And then when the drama happened and Favre left and Rodgers took over, I didn't know what to think but I still remained a fan and as you said, we were LUCKY to go from one good QB to another one as that doesn't happen too often. But now, if Aaron leaves, I'll still remain a loyal Packers fan, but I can only imagine how things will be with that void there... or we may get really Lucky and have Love do a better job than expected (I'm not holding my breath from ARod to Love). The main difference between Rodgers being drafted and Jordan Love being drafted was Favre was always flirting with retirement. He was always saying he wasn’t sure if he’d come back, wanted more time with his family etc. Rodgers said he wants to play into his 40s, and he just won MVP.
    Also the front office has been giving him off brand ingredients on offense, and he’s out there cooking five star meals. And on defense they’ve given him little and less.

    • @danielroth3714

      Also, Rodgers made the nfc title game with a 13 win team and first year head coach the year before they drafted love. Favre did not achieve such heights. To be fair, Rodgers was injured in 17 and 18 so maybe the packers were a bit concerned about his health/production.

      I honestly don’t want the niners to trade lance away. They paid two firsts to get him, and the packers will ask for more. If you can get Rodgers without trading lance or bosa then feel free, but don’t mortgage the cornerstones of the franchise. The ideal situation is to make a package around jimmy and some picks, but that won’t get it done

    Rogers is getting exactly what he wants, for everyone to talk about him vs all the newly drafted players. He does this every year during the draft and the Super Bowl. He is an attention seeker. His family disowned him and he can’t keep a GF. Diva is an understatement

    There are plenty of people saying "wait till he leaves, Green Bay. THEN they'll know how important he is."
    But it was Lombardi who said, "if you think you will be missed when you leave, stick your foot in a bucket of water, then pull it out. The hole you leave is how much you will be missed."
    CUT HIM OUTRIGHT. Move on. The Packers will be around when AR is old and gray.

    If I'm Green Bay, I would try to get the most out of a Rodgers trade. It's obvious they have been trying to replace him. And Rodgers doesn't want to play in Green Bay anymore. Move on. Why all the freaking drama. This is the mother effin' NFL. Not Days of our lives, soap opera. Or The WWF!

    I'm getting the feeling I got when Tom Brady was about to leave and said all those little comments, and Edelman was watching a BB game with him and he said he wasn't coming back. Rodgers isn't joking. Brady wasn't.
    I know the pain that caused to me when Tom left, and I am really sad for Packers fans.

      They won’t get back for another 30 years once arod gone. They wasted favre and arod years. Back to back hof qbs both in the top 10 all time and only 2 sb wins both in there 4th year starting. Favre made it back next year and never again. Arod hasn’t made it back since. That front office and ownership care about being just good enough so they can hype fans up and get their money

    Just to add both Brady&Rogers have gotten better with age, but they also benefit from a softer, kinder NFL. Aikman, Montana, Young, Moon, and Mcmahon would have been throwing for 500+ yards per game.
