I hadnt heard of this... Thanks for the tip. Not sure I'd run RM as my groups perpetual DM (trying to complete the jump to ACKs) BUT I have very fond memories
Low OE Rolls are how one of my players had her 2nd level cleric destroy a 35th level Lich. She was the last to go the round that it happened, it was something like the 12th round of combat and the party was getting their butts kicked. She said that she knew probably nothing would happen besides her getting a few XP for successfully casting the spell, but she was going to try and turn the Lich anyway. She rolled and succeeded in casting the spell and I said that I would have to fumble the RR for the Lich to even feel anything. I rolled a 02, and then Open-Ended TWICE. The total came to something like -193 for the Lich's RR! She literally got up from the table and danced while chanting, "I killed a Lich," over and over. (She did it in the Nah-nana-nah-nah voice as she did it.) This is such a cut-and-dried way to make a character. No rolling the 10d10+600 for the 10 Stats. And so few Skills to choose from! I guess I'm just too used to making characters and NPCs in RMF. (NPCs are constructed the same way that you make PCs.) As for your "screaming" comment, Nah, you did fine.
lol thank you for commenting and not screaming at me :) I mostly did this video to help convince people (and my group) of how easy it is to get started with this method.
What are you thoughts on RMX?

No Mentalist? hmmmm. I found one of the things interesting about Rolemaster is the 3 different types of Magic (Essence, Channelling, and Mentalism)
I understand this is to get new players in with a very simplified version so I think they purposely used only basic D&D character classes.
You forgot about the 4th optional Realm of Arcane?
