Great report. "VC's for everyone!" The combat was incredibly intense. The 24th spilled Zulu blood as if it were wine! And best of all...one could almost hear the surgeon, Reynolds shouting.." Damn you Chard, damn all you butchers!" Cheers!
My sincere compliments. What a STUNNING table… The use of cotton wool smoke effects really adds to the already realistic look of the engagement… and the stirring accompaniment of what is undoubtedly **one of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time** is the icing on top of an already spectacular cake. WELL DONE! 👏😊
Wow thank you so much!! Very kind of you indeed!! Did you watch my recent ‘what if’ battle report for the Battle of Shiyane too? An interesting comparison 👍🏼
@@Drewheed1 Not yet, Drew, as I only stumbled across your channel today (& first watched the Camp Attack video) but am looking forward to watching it later tonight & also your remaining videos. Already subscribed - so you’ll have to shoot some more now….. 😊👍
I’m loving your videos man. I’ve had a passion for Rorke’s drift ever since I saw the movie as a kid. I have a bunch of gear from warlord to build and paint too. Excellent photos, great work on the minis and terrain and I never get sick the music hehe. Cheers IRO
Inspiring stuff! I’ve really enjoyed this video series. I’ve had this project on my to do list for a long time, I think it’s just climbed nearer the top!
Thanks Steve, so pleased you have enjoyed it. It has been a very enjoyable process and I would highly recommend RD as a project 👍🏼 look forward to seeing it in future
Great video! Loved this… just bought my Rorke’s Drift starter set… but where did you get the spare rifles from for the three scatter terrain rifles leaning up against each other!? They look cool. Well done 👍🏻
great battle report! love all the work that you put into the terrain and miniatures. can't wait to see what you do next. what size was your table for the game? keep up the great channel.
I have enjoyed the three videos on this as I am working on the same project. Please may I ask, where did you get the stretcher party from and the rifle stacks? I think they add quite well to the scene and would like to get the same for mine.
Thanks so much, lovely to hear you have enjoyed my RD series. The stretcher bearers are from Redoubt Enterprises who do some lovely minis. Only point is that they are slightly larger than Warlord but still look okay on the table
@@Drewheed1 thanks, I have ordered some from them. I have used them for ACW before. Also, the rifles stacked, where did you get those please.? I did not see them on the Redoubt site.

Thanks so much Matt, very kind of you indeed. The table is 180x90cm I think so just under 6x4ft

@@edwardstabletoparmies955 the rifles were from Empress too, they sell a small bag of helmets, baggage, bottles and rifles. Useful for lots of things
how does it work with all those single british miniatures? i only saw black powder batreps with regiment bases so far.
@@Bryan-v6s so I grouped the single British minis into sections which operated as a unit
@@Drewheed1 interesting. i'll do this in the rorke's drift scenario too.
