Please interview this lady again in a year. I would love to see where she is a year from now and how she is doing. Love the side knife and her determination!!
To my mind, this is the reason for the existence of the nomad community . . . helping people who have nothing or close to nothing to make an independent life for themselves. I would much rather watch an interview like this than one of a 20-something millionaire with a $300,000 rig and setup.
👑 of surviving. She took her pets also 🐾🐾. Big win with me. I rescue and I get dogs just BC they are getting old. 5 isn't an old dog, its called not a cute puppy any longer! Sadly. I hope her walking stick business takes off Huge! I may need one myself 😂.
It shows the strength of her character. She loves her pets, she is grateful, humble & sincere. I pray God works a miracle in her life so she can be totally independent and, make it financially. God Bless her and, thank you for featuring this outstanding example of tenacity for all of us to aspire to. Coming to you from Ontario, Canada. I loved this ladies courage.❤
This is one of the more inspiring stories for me. Here is someone who didn’t have a choice and who had never even camped before and HAD to make it work. I feel myself getting closer and closer to this lifestyle as I can no longer tread water the way I have been for so long. Wishing Luna and her travel buddies all the best! The walking sticks are amazing!
"I can no longer tread water the way I have been for so long" seems to sum up my life perfectly. Thanks for sharing that phrase, it makes me feel just a little less alone.
Thank you so much. My walking sticks are very sentimental to me. The cost of living is pushing many people into this lifestyle. Perhaps I will see you down the road one day 😊
You my friend are an inspiration, human sprit, and the nomad lifestyle.. You are killing it!!! I liked when you talked about the health care, being a loner can understand. Good luck to you, much love and blessings. @@theunconventionalwolf
I used to teach adults in crisis and nothing gave me greater joy than to see them turn their lives around. This woman would be a serious role model for them. She shows how she learned, and it’s all about learning. She is awesome!
Wonderful woman. As a loner myself, I don't think I'll ever see her. But if I do, I want to buy a walking stick from her. Look how much she can do. She's just awesome. I started this lifestyle around eight months ago, so I'm new to this too.
It'd be so cool if you ran into her at the Rubbertramp Rendezvous or something and bought that walking stick. I like being alone too, but being with people I resonate with is wonderful for contrasting the time alone. Maybe you don't vibe with most people, but maybe you're also afraid of an idea in your head about people and pushing through that to grow your tribe a little could be great. Look at Bob, natural loner who has created such a huge community while maintaining his need for space. You can easily find space with vanlife, even in a busy place like the rendezvous. Dip the toe for an hour or two and then run away if you need to. It's good to push yourself sometimes, discomfort is the pathway to every worthy goal. The more you turn from social connection, the harder it becomes, dealing with other people is a practiced skill.
Her gratitude and joy just radiate from her. Even in the face of adversity, she's stepping up, and stepping into, a better life for herself and her pets. Wishing her all the best on the journey ahead!
You a can tell she’s new to the nomadic way of living because of the excitement she exudes. Even still, she’ll be like that for as long as she is living simply and within her means. We all can relate to the peace she feels living this way. I’m debt free with money to spare and I have never felt freer in my life.
She’s in here in the comment section, her TH-cam channel is what she said in the video, something like unconventionalwolf. She said this was recorded about 10 months ago when she’d only been on the road for two months; and now she’s passed a year. She said things are still going well! I’m sure there’s a very big learning curve at first- but I would love to study the people who have been on the road the longest and are still happy with it!
Bob is just great at interviewing people. He knows when to just listen to the person he is interviewing. So many on You Tube talk too much instead of listening.
Yep, that is classic ableism. Don't listen to what disabled people actually face, but tell them the only acceptable thing is for them to be some kind of a hero and not bother you. WELL DONE!!!! /s
I applaud her for having a positive outlook on life. She knew she was about to be homeless and took steps to give herself a different kind of home that was affordable and comfortable. It was up to her and she knew it. Now the next step is the new business to provide income. Congratulations!
Not to mention taking care of two dogs and a cat❤ bless your heart lady. I am in the preparation stages. Your honesty makes me feel much better about it

Well… Luna is one resilient gal! I love the “side arms”😆 the fact that Luna had never camped in is doing this is a testament to her strength. She certainly is an unconventional “wolf”!💜
I could feel her strength, determination, and positive attitude through the screen. I hope she has a new year filled with many blessings and her her business takes off!
My heart goes out to her but she also has my admiration for her bravery and audacity to be authentic while she survives on the road. I love her spirit. Peace and blessings to you Mystic Luna
Luna has a presence that has a calming effect, she seems like the type of person you want to be around, a good soul. Hope she is successful and happy on her journey. Love to see more of her as she travels along it. Good luck Luna !!
I admire how Luna is turning adversity into possibility. She looks at challenges as an obstacle to a better way and as she says she welcomes it. Bravo! Wishing her the best on her journey and hope she keeps that positive outlook.
I admire people that do this! I thought about it 3 years ago and did a lot of research, but I have too many medical problems (long story), so it's best I don't. GOD Bless them all.
Her face and Essence really light up when she smiles. I love her walking stick in particular so perfect. Thanks Luna for the hope and inspiration. I have CFS/ME so I get the chronic condition and trying to manage and cope/keep up with chore is a challenge. Gorgeous van and pups. Stay strong and safe, congrats on your Stick business. xx
This was an interview I didn’t want to end. Kudos to the interviewer for great questions and Luna was just a breath of fresh air. Her vibe was so positive and I’m inspired by how resourceful she has been! Also the doggies were so cute! Sending much love to Luna and the crew and even though I don’t need a walking stick, I’m looking to buy one just to support ❤
She seems like a sweet lady of circumstance, and it's unfortunate how many people have to make that decision in such a short period of time. I wish her well. Bob if there's any way that you can get her some kind of a pop-up tent affect so she could do a lot of outdoor stuff with some kind of shelter, perhaps you could donate that she could attach to the entrance of the van so she could extend her living space that would be such a blessing. I hope both her and your year gets better, and I hope people are generous to her needs.
The difference that this channel and others like it have made to the life of this blessed woman and other people like her is difficult to calculate, but if you spent 1 night sleeping homeless on the streets of any major American city in the cold and than spent the next night away from threat and danger, safe and warm, you would weep with the joy of it, WEEP WITH JOY! and with that bottom line, calculus has little to no meaning. BLESSED!
What a beautiful lady. She is so grateful, down to earth and willing to learn! I’m proud of her accomplishments, I wish her God speed and many blessings ❤️

This is a joy to listen to. I been doing van life 11 months and it can be very peaceful. She has spent a lot of money on her build but I think it’s worth it
God has Blessed her with a Beautiful smile, spirit and like she stated tenacity. What I loved the most about her, is that she has not surrendered her pets. That says it all. She is a wonderful person.
Bob - You’ve been such an inspiration to so many having to pick themselves up, start all over again, know that they are not alone in this movement of survival in modern times. I’ve lived in a Class A rv, two older models but blessings to me, since 1999 thinking of it as a covered wagon reborn. I absolutely luv the freedom this lifestyle has given me while working then and now retired. I find it alarming as well as humbling so many have had to turn to living in their cars, vans, tents and even cardboard makeshifts in a country of such great wealth. Thankfully through your TH-cam videos and word of mouth you have inspired those in despair. May you find peace and joy throughout the year to come continuing to enlighten those struggling along the way. 🎉 Happy New Year 2024 🎉
Happy New Year, Luna, Furballs, and Bob. What a great vid and a positive minded person this woman is. I love how she set things up. Would love to see a follow-up with the solar installation and maybe a breakdown of how she does it on such a frugal budget. Going forward, I wish you all the best.
Luna's outcome makes me smile because it gives me hope. Im currently between a rock & hard place due to being in disability after two strokes. Low income housing isn't an option due to a 7 year list and woman w children come first as shld be. I was priced out to rent even studios in the poorest part of Cali cost over a grand to rent and I barely get this each month to exist on. I have a 2004 Nissan frontier and was thinking of just finding a camper to start me off to I can save up to purchase a van. I just want to live what time i have left happy.
Please interview this lady again in a year. I would love to see where she is a year from now and how she is doing. Love the side knife and her determination!!

Yep, love to see a woman strapped with a nice fixed blade knife. For me, that's a touch of realism.
She does have her own channel to follow
Hey I never noticed her knife until someone in comments mentioned it. This women is prepared , she is smart.

Her spirit is so bright and she is filled with life!! I could see her writing a book or blog or TH-cam channel and inspired the world over!!
I LOVE this woman!!! Her determination and enthusiasm are so inspiring!! Thank you for sharing her story!!
Thank you for witnessing 😊
God has Blessed her with a Beautiful smile, spirit and like she stated tenacity. What I loved the most about her, is that she has not surrendered her pets. That says it all. She is a wonderful person.
Having them has definitely made things more challenging but I'm doing my best 😊
🎉 Happy New Year 2024 🎉
Blessings 🥰
Happy New Year, Luna, Furballs, and Bob. What a great vid and a positive minded person this woman is. I love how she set things up. Would love to see a follow-up with the solar installation and maybe a breakdown of how she does it on such a frugal budget. Going forward, I wish you all the best.
"Making something happen" is what it's all about. Congratulations. We can all make something happen.

The entry rug is ICONIC❤❤❤❤
She looks like a powerful warrior with that knife on her waist! Thank you both for sharing!
I'm powerful without it 😉
What a brave strong loving woman❤
Luna's outcome makes me smile because it gives me hope. Im currently between a rock & hard place due to being in disability after two strokes. Low income housing isn't an option due to a 7 year list and woman w children come first as shld be. I was priced out to rent even studios in the poorest part of Cali cost over a grand to rent and I barely get this each month to exist on. I have a 2004 Nissan frontier and was thinking of just finding a camper to start me off to I can save up to purchase a van. I just want to live what time i have left happy.
