The rest of us are completely stressed out, and here you are in a zen-like journey from one little slice of heaven to another. If ever you run into a spot of trouble, just remember that millions would gladly trade places with you.
I'm happy everything went okay when you assisted a complete stranger, on the side of the road, all alone, in the middle of nowhere! I admit I would not be that brave! Stay safe & careful always!
I was camping by myself for several days in a camp site near Mount Langley’s trail head to acclimate to altitude. It was tranquil. I didn’t do much except cooking, reading, and sleeping. I still remember that experience.
You didn’t say how long you were sequestered all by yourself in the snowy woods! Absolutely gorgeous drone footage. Beautiful and peaceful video! Thanks for sharing.
Brian watching you carving spoons reminds me of Richard Proenneke. I am sure you know who he is. You seem to find peace in nature the same way except with a modern twist. Its so cool. Thank you.
Brian you seem to really make great choices that lead to your “ life experiences” . I love that you recognize the truly wonderful ones and share the joy of them with us . I can say I know when a special event or location just hits that magic spot. It can be as simple as a walk in the backyard but when it’s great it’s great. Solitude certainly helps. Thanks for your work you put in.
Hi Brian, the thoughts you share are very uplifting about nature and how it affects you and how it’s changed your life. That was very kind of you helping “Brian” out. I would have done the same, safe travels….🙏🏼🦅🙋🏻♂️🪶✌🏼
Good stuff. The enlightenment when you get that sense of nature - the noise yet silence of the snow falling in the forest, the smells, the realization that you're alone and yet you're not in the grand scheme - nothing like it. Keep up the good work!
I learned in my Navy days, be comfortable being uncomfortable! It has served me well all my life and journey through it! Sounds like you got to experience it, and ain't it great! Happy travels my friend!
Brian, the drive through the canyon and the drone shots that you took were breathtaking!! What a gorgeous area! And as always, you make me smile with your appreciative whistles! ✌🏼😊
Yes Highway 89A between Flagstaff and Sedona has some serious switchbacks, but so does that section of the 60 through the Salt River Canyon. Both are beautiful drives!
The Salt River canyon there is an underrated spot in AZ. It's always something you drive through on your way to somewhere else, but it's really gorgeous. Glad Brian captured the canyon with the drone, beautiful!
Used to watch you so much, would wake up early before school and watch your videos, I just somehow stopped watching and just stumbled across your channel again, it had been awhile didn’t even know you had a new set up! Missed it, I’m back now!!
Loved the drone footage! Really beautiful scenery. I didn't care for the snow though. I live in Michigan and I'm done with winter. I didn't realize that it got so cold in Arizona. You were up in elevation so I guess it's expected. I like what I see of the current camp that you are at.
Yep, no doubts physical environment is the icing on the cake, but frame of mind makes or breaks every place/moment for sure! I'm guessing you do, but just in case you don't, I bet Eckhart Tolle's teachings would be/is a nice fit for you. Lot's of free lectures, and such, on TH-cam. As always, I appreciate you Brian!
All of us hate to see you leave that peaceful slice of heaven. Good cooking video !!! Seems like your diésel heater could run more to keep you warmer. Could you insulate the trailer more?
Always nice to see another video. We have had two whole days of above 50 degrees here in Des Moines. I even took my guitar outside for a quick strum. Awesome.
From one gorgeous place to another, you really find lovely spots Brian. Good idea to help that guy. Some folks are pretty skilled at sizing up danger and some are scammer magnets. If he'd felt at all creepy, you could have offered to suggest he stay with his car and you would make a call for him as soon as you had a signal. Still helpful, but safer. The fact that your choice to give him a ride shows that your judgement skills are finely tuned. Good to see you carving. Very nice.
WOW.... great video and again some memories.... I lived in the Phoenix are way back in the 70s, and worked for Salt River Project... both electric and irrigation divisions... left in '76. remember tubing down the Salt closer to Saguaro lake down in the valley. and Show Low... spent a night in that very wally world by the hospital... yep a bit of noise. Thanks for taking me back in time... safe travels...
It got down to 46 last night in the mountains of Michoacán in central Mexico. My wife was complaining. I said for some people that’s the day’s high temperature. She wasn’t impressed I’m impressed by your toughness. If we had to drive our van to snow country we’d both curl up and freeze.
Brian that drone footage was top notch !! Glad you made it out of your snow camp safely! I love all of your tips like the spatula technique. Safe Travels Amigo 👊🏼
Hey, enjoy that one great drone shots too. Take care and see you soon. Interesting fact on Show Low legend on how the town got its name. According to a legend, the city's unusual name[5] resulted from a marathon poker game between Corydon E. Cooley and Marion Clark. The two men were equal partners in a 100,000-acre (400 km2) ranch; however, the partners determined that there was not enough room for both of them in their settlement, and agreed to settle the issue over a game of "Seven Up" (with the winner taking the ranch and the loser leaving). After the game seemed to have no winner in sight, Clark said, "If you can show low, you win." In response, Cooley turned up the deuce of clubs (the lowest possible card) and replied, "Show low it is.".[6] As a tribute to the legend, Show Low's main street is named "Deuce of Clubs" in remembrance.[5]
I am so familiar with all of where you were! We camp a lot by Forest Lakes and in the White Mountains. We live in the south east valley, I would rather take the 60 than 87 any day, the drive up 60 is so beautiful and in many ways more peaceful. You are pretty much the first TH-camr that has highlighted my home state!
Agreed! I'm a native of Mesa, and I was stoked to see him in all the great places we camp and visit! Forest lakes, FR 300, heber, overgaard, showlow, globe 😁😁😁
@@tammywestern5816 It’s getting pretty crowded up there in the summer now. I just wish people would learn to respect the forest more! Can’t count the times, that I have had to clean up a camp site before we could use it. Safe travels to you Tammy!
Brian, I have to say, the intro of your last two videos brought images of Alexander Supertramp in the Majic Bus into my mind. Nice video, I will make sure I travel hwy 60 west from Show Low.
Brian my love, great video. I love your cooking. The beautiful forest, trees, lakes, and blue skies. How wonderful it is to go with you on adventures. That was so nice of the gentleman to buy the food . I love you and traveling with you. Honey take care and stay safe and beware of false prophets.🇺🇸🇺🇸😇😇👍👍🙏🙏❤️❤️🌹🌹🍺🍺🌞🌞🕊🕊
Your last video was quite the cliffhanger - I was waiting on bated breath to see how things ended up for you at Snow Camp, lol! Perhaps it was such a life-changing experience because of the solitude and self-reliance you experienced. It's always magical, hushed and serene after a snowfall, but to be alone in the middle of the woods, expertly taking care of yourself and using all your acquired survival skills, has got to be the most amazing feeling. I love that after your time alone, you were gifted with a disc golf buddy for the day! Your drone footage was spectacular - I really want to drive that stretch of road now! Thanks always for sharing.
Now that’s the way to enjoy a heavy snowstorm. Seems like vehicle #3 is much better suited for it. The drone footage was epic as good as it gets. Thanks Brian for such a peaceful tranquil drama free channel. ✌️
Another awesome video Brian 👍 That Salt River Canyon road is now on my to do list when we're staying with family in Havasu. Chicken, pasta and pesto dish looked amazing 👍 Stay safe buddy.
You just cannot beat the breadth and beauty of the entire Northern AZ area. I grew up in Flag. I love it so. I know it like the back of my hand. Dad was a geologist and we camped and did field work growing up. Enjoy! Thanks for the pics.
Brian, this video was epic, it really spoke to me. Thank you for these videos. Your content is not only beautiful but also spiritual. Stay safe and take care.
Brian, like your dad would say, we're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time!
The rest of us are completely stressed out, and here you are in a zen-like journey from one little slice of heaven to another. If ever you run into a spot of trouble, just remember that millions would gladly trade places with you.
I constantly think what a BEAUTIFUL country we live in.
The best in the world.
Brian says:
Thank you for being here.
I say:
Thank you for being there!
While the scenery is great, the people who engineered/ built the roads needs a shout out!
I'm happy everything went okay when you assisted a complete stranger, on the side of the road, all alone, in the middle of nowhere! I admit I would not be that brave! Stay safe & careful always!
Sometimes what we see as an obstacle is natures way of getting us to slow down long enough to get back in sync.
I was camping by myself for several days in a camp site near Mount Langley’s trail head to acclimate to altitude. It was tranquil. I didn’t do much except cooking, reading, and sleeping. I still remember that experience.
Amazing. Brad helps you and you help Brian at the roadside. What a wonderful world.

The snow camp is quiet and peaceful and clears your mind of all the stresses in the world.
That drone footage was epic… Beautiful canyon, perfect weather!
Good Karma help with that breakdown too 👍🏽
Thanks for the tip about the green onions, i keep asparagus the same way.
Northern Arizona is beautiful. Snow looked like it melted fast at the high elevations. Thank you.

You should do a meet up with Foresty Forest some time .. I think you two have the same relaxed vibe

Brian thanks for giving us all the chance to enjoy the terrain with the drone footage.... Breath taking brother ! ✌️

Square off the edge of one of your spoons and bevel the edge and you'll never need the silicone one again, loved flying thru the canyon.
Hey Brian, May I know the title of the guitar music you have in this video, I really like it . Nice episode !

The view was fabulous.. but too high and scary... 😆
Brian, thank you for the trip down memory lane for me , I spent many summers in the Lakeside area I miss it so much.
Great video of your adventures. Really like the day by day. Thanks Don
The City park in Kearny Az. Has water, trash cans and dump stations. I've stayed there a couple times. Mighty be worth checking out. And it's free.
Wow beautiful canyon! I liked your camp in the woods too.
Amazing drone footage Brian. Glad you had no issues with the snow. Happy trails🌻
I agree Brian about the spoonula. It is my favorite kitchen utensil. So useful. Love the drone footage of the canyons!
Beautiful country. My favorite TH-cam chef calls that very useful kitchen tool a spoonula.

There is so much to love here. Your inspiring attitude towards life invites these fortuitous experiences.
