It really picks up the momentum from late Season 2 with brilliant script writing and acting, particularly Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis Asia Dylan. Those subtle references to the classics and pop culture has a Dylanesque quality to it.
I love DL in Billions, he's such an iconic figure. For some reason, the fact that he's British always takes me aback- like when I hear him in interviews. Not sure why, other than he is so... totally and completely Axe in this series. I love Billions.
They forgot 2 of Axe's rants involving Rebecca. 1st My favorite when he threatens the shareholders who sold their stock when she 1st bought out Saers. Axe says "I'm going to run your holdings down to 0 & I'm going to smile like the Joker while I do it"!!!😆😂🤣 #2 the long rant when he finds out she made a deal with Taylor behind his back because she felt bad about putting him in such a bad predicament!!!🤴🏽✌

Have you watched Lie to Me. That is not nearly as good, but it kinda reminds me of Billions. You have Tim Roth, a human lie detector, prone to rash decision making, and His his psychiatrist, Kelli Williams, trying to prevent him from sabotaging himself. Their relationship reminds me of Wendy & Axe's. It was Pretty Good. It only lasted three seasons, but I think it was because of the supporting cast.
