I really enjoy your videos, I made this dish it was flavorful and absolutely delicious. Now that I have discovered epis, I will be marinating all my future chicken and fish dishes. Thank you!
I know I'm 6months late. But me and my hubby love watching your videos and recreating your dishes. He is Puerto Rican and Haitian I'm white. So I always feel so good knowing I can cook Haitian dinner's lol. Thank you for uploading video's. I also haven't changed my last name on my TH-cam so please don't judge my last name 😂😂😂😂🤦
But how do you know the measurements of all the dry ingredients? And also when you cleaned the chicken did you boil it ? Or just cleaned with lime and vinegar
I would suggest trying the Organic Chicken Bouillon Base for a healthier option to the maggie (not good for us). It taste so much richer. But love this otherwise!
You're very welcome @Ms. Juan Austin. I looked up Epis; it's a wet seasoning base kept in the frig, and used in lots of recipes. There are a few to choose from on Google just search " Haitian Epis". 🙂
How much did you put in for each ingredient lol I feel like with certain foods, if you add too much then it’s a wrap. A bit difficult to follow so I assume you add in what you like for taste?
🗣Absolutely🗣 not!!! It wouldn’t be “Haitian” if your substituting the ingredients!!! It’s not her job to do that; it’s your job to understand that different cultures have their own recipes! 🤷🏽♀️
I'm American and I love haitian food 😍my favorite haitian dish is legume😋

I love my Haitian food. ❤❤❤
Im Haitian American i rarely see the chicken cooked like stew without being fried first... thank you!!! Madame
Nancy Noel this the proper way to make it
Nancy Noel it shouldn’t be fried because that’s too much oil but ppl do it however they want tbh

It’s a spice made with green onion garlic and peppers and you can add other herbs and dry seasonings to your liking.

Idiotic response; thanks anyway
Linda Morris “Idiotic question”, but your welcome ☺️
Wasn’t talking to DUMBO. This is not your Channel, so don’t chase people off with your ignorance and nasty attitude.
Why didn’t I think to block you immediately? Bye Felicia
