Nice deck I Like what you have done. You could make some plates with nuts welded on them And mount them underneath with carriage bolts down through the top that way no tripping hazards. then you could just screw down bolts with flat washers on them to hold down your tent. You could move them if you were to get a different tent. Thank you for making this video . I might build one of these my shelf.
For those who cannot pound stuff into mountain rocks, just attach the stakes posts to the foundation with U shaped brackets or nails. I can't dig into the ground at my campsite, but this is still sound for tents. I like this. Can you make a video of how to create this platform and how much it would cost?
Do you have any problems with moisture between the tent floor and the deck? What a great setup and setting you have! You’re in different types of weather so obviously you’re leaving the tent up year round. How is it holding up? I know you have a Stout Bell Tent. Which model did you get?

No, I left spacing between the deck boards to make sure the moisture would drain away
what are the dimensions of the tent platform ?
14 feet by 20 feet, my tent is 13 feet in diameter, this gives me a nice deck space in front of the tent
Is that the sound of waves crashing on the beach or a wind storm? There is so much background noise.
