Plaintiff in the first case said she didnt go alone to Sedona because she was humiliated, well WTH is she doing on TV then isn't more humiliation on TV then by herself in a hotel room?😮
She got the news almost at the we time they were supposed to leave. It hit her like a truck. I would have felt exacly the same way. Her heart was totally invested on this weekend and she was devastated. Some of us get hurt before we get angry and can say, "screw it."
I give this guy kudos because he at least tried to do the right and honorable thing, as a gentleman, and reimburse her for the $200 he THOUGHT they were paying for this hotel on this vacation, and he had the good sense to inform her ahead of time, on the phone, that he had met someone else and that he honestly no longer felt comfortable going on this trip with her anymore, out of respect for both her and the other woman and the fact that he was now in love with her, and it wasn't found out second-hand from someone else telling her or from him cheating with the other girl and her finding out. I feel bad for her, that she planned this vacation and this lovely surprise for him and she was disappointed that he didn't go with her, but she could have still gone, either by herself or with someone else. She was the one paying for this adventure, after all. Why waste it? At least she didn't have to find out he was dating another girl while they were on the trip and it was all cheating and infidelity and drama. He told her upfront that this was not a committed relationship. They met while speed-dating, they went on a couple of dates and then this trip fell through. I respect him for at least being honest with her. I think couples nowadays should focus more on open lines of communication and discussing problems, rather than just blindly assuming that its understood and then the lady gets her feelings hurt because realized that she had feelings for this man beyond just a casual crush. Second case....if the teacher had told the young lady to put on the skates and then go careening at top speed down a hill and into oncoming traffic, would she have listened to that advice, as well? The teacher may have SAID that it wasn't necessary to wear the protective gear while skating, but you were the one who chose (very foolishly, I might add) to heed her advice and ignore your own good sense and and take 5 minutes to go get your gear and put it on before you started skating, and you fell and got hurt. Thankfully, you weren't hurt any worse than just a sprained hip. Let this be a lesson to you. If it were me, when I get on a dangerous implement (like a horse or a bicycle or a car) I make sure to either put on my seatbelt or wear the proper safety gear so I don't get hurt.
@jaynehogue2459 It was planned weeks in advance, and he canceled a half hour before. So yeah, she technically wasn't stood up, but she was canceled on at the last minute by a guy she was falling for. So it's still a shitty memory.
It's messed up that be broke up with her 30 MINUTES before meeting up with her. He could of told her days before. I bet he was spending the same weekend with the new girl. Great that he ended it with her but he knew he was wrong for how he did it. He was spending all this time with this girl ( 2-3 days a week) and magically meets "the one" a week prior to their trip? I don't buy it probably met her weeks beforehand. He was just playing a numbers game. I don't think I can date a guy for 2 months without having the exclusive talk after a while. If they were hanging out 2-3 days a week and talking on the phone daily, she should of tried to figure out where things were going after the 1st month. She was crazy for booking a trip without figuring out how the payment was going to work. She is lucky he agreed to pay the 200 though.
how MUCH you wanna bet (for fun....) that his new babe is also...........................asian. give him and his squeeze marriage and watch it take a toll.
The skater case - the first thing she should have taught her was to bend your knees & get low in your skating stance. That facilitates the second thing that should have been taught, which is the correct way to fall - you wanna fall forward (when at all possible) and that requires knee, elbow, & wrist guards. If you start to fall backwards you learn real quick to shift to pick a cheek because a bruised tailbone hurts like a mofo. FYI to anyone new to skating they do make padded skating shorts that have hip & tailbone padding which can help protect those parts if you tend fall a lot when you're starting out.
She was not a professional roller skating instructor/coach. I grew up at the rink, all my coaches were certified. I would never take lessons in someone's garage!
The roller skater trying to sue cause she fell and hurt her hip is laughable. Grow up, honey. That's a risk everyone takes when they rollerskate. Or skateboard. Or ski. Or snowboard.
I think they are real.......dont get upset if its between an AF/WM......wish in her future, she does NOT get desperate to find love.......sometimes, being single pays off $$$$$$
@@MrBillybooks Show claims these are legitimate cases in and from the area of Los Angeles, California. I think the reason these cases come off as fake sometimes is because the people living in LA have a reputation for being shallow, self-centered, and phony.
Crazy people, I like the way the judge, puts them in the corner, when they try and sue, for injuring themselves, which they decided to do. And her pads would not have made the slightest difference.
I'm wondering if the lessons happened at her home, would her home owners insurance coverage accident of someone on her property? My renters insurance covers up to a certain amount if an accident occurs in my rental to someone else. Just me playing armchair attorney
They are actors... from Google Yes, the litigants on Justice for the People with Judge Milian are actors. The show is scripted, and the actors pretend to be participating in an actual court case.
In all the years i skated, i never wore or saw anyone wear a helmet. Knee pads and elbow pads, that's it. Some people need to blame other people for every little thing that happens to them.
I was 20 and dating a guy for a few months. We made plans that I would meet him in CA over a long weekend and we both lived in MA. He had to unexpectedly come back to MA the day before I was to fly out. I went anyway and rented a car to drive to meet friends in Carlsbad. 26 and won't go on vacation alone? Pull up your big girl pants next time!
This show should be embarrassing for Judge Milan. Not that I do not respect her, but to be part of these "plastic" actors and crowd is a downgrade compared to the original, courtlike setting, in her previous show. This new cheap show is like it is filmed for a SNL skit.
I dislike this guy for his egregious behaviour, hurting her heart so bad. He wanted to take advantage of her by not telling her beforehand he was dating another girl. If he told her, she would not have lost her time in courtship with him.
Dan Collins is lame, is not a man, he should have paid all proper amount at least or better the full amount including hers. Expose him so that everyone knows what he is. He will always be a problem to relationships. Shame on him, makes all men lood bad. People are not comodities and he found another person that "fits" him better and just changes? He should have paid the complete amount for both of them to show respect for what he had done. Grace Lu is an awesome person, so beautiful, so kind, if I was younger I would marry her if she loved me.
No. He wasn't in to her and he didn't use her and her money for a free trip to Sedona when his heart was with someone else. A bad man would have used her on that trip then ghosted her because he had the other woman who he preferred.

Because this is fake, scripted and dreadful.
The People's Court was interesting and informative. This format doesn't work for me.

I love the judge but, this version of the show stinks.
Another “good” thing is that when she finally does go to Sedona it’ll be a happy memory. Not one of her being stood up
She wasn't stood up. He called her and said he wasn't going

Where’s Douglas??
Why why why Judge Millian? Freakin actors on your new show? Very sad, very disappointed. You were my all time favorite.😕
How is he breaking up with her… if they were not an item? They clearly said they were not exclusive…
Youth is indeed wasted on the young, I would have went on that trip and had a ball and taken the $200 as soon as he offered it.
I love Judge Marilyn but the new bailiff isn't Douglas.

why does this feel so scripted
I'm sayin 😂😂😂
Because it is. This show is scripted to relate to other potential real life cases. That’s the whole point of this series
Ya this doesn’t work. The old show was great.

I do not feel for her, she was rushing the relationship.
Wish I could see what he left her for
Not a big fan of this new show. Clearly it is much lower budget than the People’s Court.
It is not her fault that the girl is a crappy skater.
Very rehearsed and staged. Even the plaintiff's name, Destiny Payne...
She is a good woman, just didn't work out. She is a cutie and seems very loving and caring.
He could've gone on the trip and tell her then he no longer wanted to date her
That is so damn low, are you serious?
