Left Hackettstown in 77, age 12.......had a whole lotta fun there.......the fish hatchery, the jigger shop, the strand theater....remember some cool fishing spots........the corn fields and RR tracks up on College View Dr.........good time and memory's
I grew up in Hackettstown from 86-96, on college view dr. There were still the amazing spots that felt abandoned and wild to a little kid, like the fields bordering Mansfield and the ridge dividing Hackettstown from Independence. And the tracks like you said, and the little creek off Grand Ave, and i could go on. I’m a nostalgic son of a gun, and I really appreciated your comment.
Wow, sweet! We left there in '71, I was 8. I remember Mansfield Elementary, our huge yards around our homes, and oh, how I'd loved our sky out there..... and the M&M Mars... and the milkman bringing the glass bottles of milk and putting them in our milk-box on the front porch.... and the ice-cream truck driving through our neighborhood in the summer....
I from Brazil and i was there in july this year, and very nice and friendly people . i'm going to get back next year my best friend lives there, very nice video keep doing that.
Thanks for watching. I do have a few videos on my channel that travel through part of Byram Township, on Route 206. Here is one of them: th-cam.com/video/3Sqa1Aj8RBQ/w-d-xo.html
