Like if you realized that I added 2 Thassa's in the extended version of the list (now replaced with Emry for Mindslaver shenanigans). I also fixed the Star Compass Sphere of the Suns mistake.
Thanks! I know it took a long time to finally finish this video. Hope it's worth the wait. I think the first videos in this series were more interesting because they were about selecting the right synergy cards, but choosing the 'filler' is also important I guess :)
This was an amazing series. I was toying around with having a cube of the 5 shards and Clans but with a twist on their themes. Your guide was very informative.
Thank you SO MUCH for making this. You arrived at a few of the same cards I chose to finish my list, and that helps me feel a bit better about my choosing them since you have been doing this longer than I have!
Glad it was helpful and I'm happy we arrived at similar inclusions. For some types of cards there are simply "the best" options powerlevel-wise. You can choose to use those, or you can have a reason to choose something else. Including pet cards is important and makes your cube feel like 'you'.
@@mtgcubetube I've recommended your series to at least a dozen people. Its been very helpful. As I continue to iterate on the list and increase the size I'm finding more ways to make the cube feel like my own design!
Amazing videos, the best one on building a cube so far! It will be amazing to see you going on with cube stuff like standalone card or other specific aspect of a cube
This video series has been sooooooooooo helpful with developing my first cube. Thank you soooo much for all the hard work and long hours you've put into this episode and into this series! Cheers!
I love this series so MUCH. Thank you for doing it. You went into a lot of depth on card selection and that really helped a lot! My only minor gripe is that the song that starts around the 1:00 mark sounds JUST like my alarm on my iPhone and gives me flashbacks throughout the video... I'd much rather listen to a lofi hip-hop thing but that's somewhat personal taste. Anyways, love your videos regardless and looking forward to more good stuff!
This series has been great! I love your building and video making style. I hope to see more videos, whatever topic. Maybe some of your favorite common or uncommon draft archetypes?
Great stuff! God bless you for putting all the effort into those videos. I would love to see similar takes on other archetypes - especially -1/-1 counters and level up which are harder to build around.
Thanks for this amazing series of videos. GReat work. Right now I'm working on building my own core set/Set cube for sealed. I want to teach my friends how sealed work before the go to a real pre release. It's have been a lot of fun building it, an your videos are helping me a Lot. Greetings from Mexico :v/
Thanks! I recommend not assembling this exact cube but instead choose cards you enjoy, use card you have, etc. I am not even sure if this cube plays well: once you build a cube you can spend years tinkering with it, and this is just an unplayed initial build after all. I think it will play well, but not better/worse than when you make sure to use your own judgment, collection and preferences.
@@mtgcubetube yeah I used a mix of your video as a tutorial and some ideas but made some changes and used cards I had but this has been a great video series thank you.
Hi Shuart, thanks a lot for your video series! It hit me right when I first thought about building a cube some weeks ago, from scratch, on a super budget, synergistically ;) I also enjoy the style of your videos! My playgroup is quite small (5players max). What are your ideas to adjust to less than five players in cube draft?
What is the budget for this cube? The cubecobra list shows €2700 which is seems to be inflated because the cheapest version of each card isn't used (for example nev's disc at €1850)
Cubecobra calculates the price using prices of some special versions of the cards. If you look at the cheapest versions only, their added tcg market price is 470 (you can also see this on cubecobra as the buy price). Overall I tried to stick to 500 in tcg median price (or using the mtggoldfish deckpricer), but went $70 over that budget.
Thanks to this video i was finally able to finish my cube!!!! though it does look very similar to this one, im happy with it for now I think. cubecobra.com/cube/overview/116z
I just finished your 5 videos. Briliant content. Loved it. You just win a new subscriber.
This whole series has helped me build my first cube and I could not thank you more for getting me into this amazing format❤️
Great to hear! Cube is great right?

This series is seriously one of the best pieces of cube content on the website imo. I hope we'll see more from you
What an interesting take on Cube editing.Thank you for the inspiration!
This series was awesome! Going to use this to build my first cube!
Yayyy, I was so excited for this, I'm so glad to see you back, you do awesome work!

Super great how to :)
As i am building a peasant cube my power level is obviously different but I still learned a lot :)
This is so good! I'll start to assemble that cube tomorrow :)

Good call on that Nev's Disk version by the way. I changed it and it already looks much better.

Great work, also on the detailed explanation of the archetypes. And I love Esika's Chariot and the fact that you weaved in the land theme!
@@mtgcubetube thank you! The lands theme im curious to see how it does because it feels a little out of place! And thanks for drafting mine haha
