    Customer service masterclass, this is why I didn't hesitate to be one of your early adopters, despite all your testing, nothing is perfect, and you'll make it right for anyone who runs into an issue.

    These guys and the guys at Mosko Moto know what customer service is. This is what so many companies have lost sight of now and days unfortunately. Good on you for making it right.

      How does the aftercare work if you're in the UK and have bought through a UK seller?

    Good on you Cory for addressing this immediately and publicly. It's the kind of open dialog that keeps me coming back for your products. Having said that, the two "The Fix" brake pedals I've installed are working flawlessly and we've had zero issues with the provided pedal tip. Yes, it " looks" smaller as compared to oem, but in practical application, it's right where it should be, tactile and requires no searching of any kind, it just works! Keep up the excellent work and after the sale service!

    Hi Cory, I think I was in the second batch and still in the box, Colorado is a bit chilly 🥶 this time of year, so I’ll check and let you guys know if there’s an issue. Either way the fact that you let us know about any issues is top notch in my book!!! Thanks for all you and the team does to make our bikes better! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 everyone!

    Everything I've ordered from Camel ADV has been spot on (anti bobble-head, minimal rear rack & one finger clutch). I haven't tried to install the brake fix yet as I am recovering from finger surgery, but as soon as my fingers heal it'll go on. I never realized my bike had the folding brake tip so I doubt this will even be a thought. Keep up with the great work as I am staying a repeat customer. BTW no other place I've ordered stuff from has ever added the smiley face and "thank you" on the shipping box.

    You have a great well thought out product. Some minor issues that can easily be corrected. It still functions. You are doing what you need to do, making it right up front. Good job. I'll look mine over. Thanks.

    I love that you want to please everyone. That's a hard thing with adventure bikes because of the extremely wide range of people that purchase them. I know from forums and other TH-cam channels that we are among the 1% of tenere owners that push the limits offroad on every ride. Keep up the awesome work, 🍻.

    • @CamelADV

      We want to have options for all riders. Sometimes I get tunnel vision and design for my own aggressive riding style rather than that of the majority of people. There's room for both!

    Just installed mine and it was a great fit. Mine came with the zip tie you refer to though. FYI, adventure spec skid plates require removal to get those 2 bottom frame bolts out. Now I'm eyeing that aux tank ;)

    Got one and love it, thanks Cory! I had a Touratech style extension on my OEM so it obviously feels smaller but I'm not having any problems with it. The pedal sits comfortably under my big toe and is grippy so you don't roll off it. Heaps better feel on the rear brake. The only PITA moment for me was removing the OEM split-pin but probably only because my 56 year old eyes don't focus like they used to.

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cotter pin can be the worst part of it for sure!

    I got mine in the first batch of pre-orders and the install was super smooth, great product overall! It even survived a tip over in the garage which of course sucks but the brake pedal was unscathed except for a small scratch. I have several Camel products on my T7 and every one of them has worked flawlessly.

    I don't think the people who are complaining about tip size are dirt riders. They should look at the tiny tip on a trials bike and realize that the very best riders in the world honed their skill with a tiny brake tip.

    Cory,
    I understand your frustration. I dealt with same thing with gear design. Have you considered a rectangular or oval foot pad, as opposed to the triangle? Or at least offer it as an option. The Ducati and Tiger had some nice shapes that offer consistent contact point for your foot. Keep up the great work, and I will be ordering one soon.
    As far as the Camel tank, you hit that out of the park! Perfect design, love it!

    Fair play guys. I got mine and plan to fit it tomorrow, did a dry fit and it does seem to be a little sticky. Will go ahead with the install anyway and see how it goes. Out of interest though, would a bit of emery cloth do the job?

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is your sleeve binding or the spring? A bit of emery cloth on the sleeve will correct that. If it's the spring, then we'll have to send you a replacement.

    I buy one, but i want to have the height from the pedal a little bit over the camel adv foot peg but it is impossible to adjust the sensor for the brake light if i go too high. So the pedal need to bee approximately on the same height. It is not perfect for mee. Perhaps the fix is really better than OEM.

    Just pulled mine out of the box and did a dry fit of the bushing, no dice as it's stopping about 3/4 the way through. Is this something I should just try and bore myself, or email you all directly?

    I had to take mine off and put the OEM peddle back on, because I couldn't get the brake switch to adjust properly to light up and hold the brake light on. I tried half a dozen times. I'm dinner with it.

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you contact us so we could help you get it adjusted? I just looked at our inbox and there are no emails from anyone with your name asking about Fix adjustments.

    I have just mounted the brake pedal on my T7 and y'm very angry because it's impossible to lock the bolt because then the pedal can't move ! The aluminium washer with the small size inside make pressure on the bushing. I am very disapointed !

    Folding brake lever tips are illegal in some places.

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's interesting. What countries are they illegal in?

  • @gabrielkopp2036

    Like I said before...offer other colors and I'll buy one

  • @lessmore444
    @lessmore444 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Folding tips are overrated, they don’t really protrude any less once hinged in. So are large ones. The small angled deflection style has worked on dirt bikes for ages without issue.

    • @CamelADV
      @CamelADV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what we've found too. It seems the more dirt oriented the bike is, the smaller the pedal tip is.
