So you don't need a device such as iDatastart ADS-USB-ECO to program this?

I recently got a CMBMXA0 and added a dronemobile and P2WR5 compustar remote set. i was able to get the drone X1 to work through the blue telematic port (the gray one would allow power but not send any commands) but the compustar antenna wouldn't work, whether it was gray or blue telematic port. since my setup is very similar to yours, what was your exact steps to get both the compustar remotes AND the drone to work together with the CMBMXA0? is there anything new i need to do after what's shown in the video?

Oof, that's unfortunate. I only was able to get those to running in I.E. because they never updated it for modem browsers. I can try something later on, but not sure you'll have luck otherwise

I’m trying to get my cm7200 to recognize my new ft-das-ii. I bought a special ads-usb cable and made an amount on maestro. Is that correct so far?

While this is a bit different (bmw specific modules in video) I think you can get it sorted. The site I used here is www.idatalink.com, which allows you to flash modules. I was able to use a standard USB-2 mini on my module, some require the ads cable. Then, using I.E. try logging into idatastart and running their flash software, which should find your device.

Also can I take the laptop to my car or do I need to unplug the brain?

It does have to be unplugged from the vehicle, you could technically leave it in place, unplug it, and run the USB. I had some issues which just required restarting my computer or browser to get it to link up.
