    i have kz1100A -82.... great bike, love the sound and torque. and very trusty. 152000km on clock. no any major problems. still a lot miles ahead :) that time motorbike design was the best. very beautiful.

      Got my 82 kz1100 two weeks ago completely restored. Black and gold color scheme. Great vid. I am also trying to figure out the bike, are you a cruiser, a sport bike? But it's beautiful and fun

    Love that bike man. It sounds so cool. I wonder, is there any kind of pre-load on the rear suspension that could be worked on to help with the turning?

    • @MCCJustMotos
      @MCCJustMotos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, it’s a great sounding motor and great poll on top. I’m gonna have a wicked late 70s and early 80s shoot out of three bikes soon you’ll have to wait to check it out! I think a rear tire and some pre-load in the air shocks would help tiny bit but the shaft drive Works against it a little bit in the corners.

    Ahh, the BIG BOY KZ! Looks a lot faster than my KZ650SR! From your video, it seems easier to flatfoot than my bike, and I have 30" inseam too!

    what did you like better, ZN1100 or the GS1000L and how much did you pay for the Suzuki GS1000L? Thanks

    • @MCCJustMotos
      @MCCJustMotos  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ha! glad you noticed that I have all 3! I also have a 77’ Spotster 1000 which i really like...Stay tuned for a full comparison video! ...but, The best looking of the bunch in my opinion is the Kawasaki..its the worst handling of the trio and not my favorite for powerband. GS1000L is special in so many ways. It’s the quickest handler and very sharp! Biggest grunt down low, but less quick to rev. weird seating/foot position, okay handlebars. GS1100L is great too..I’m still learning it. It more stable than the 79’ but not as quick steering. It feels the smallest when sitting on it and most comfy. handlebars most narrow. Great responsive powerband...Hmmm toss up between those two for different reasons. Stay tuned.

    I actually own the same model...excellent condition with 69.000 kms without a rebuild. you will get used to the higher proportion of weight specially bring more forward than many touring bikes. At around 2000 rpm my cam chain can be heard but open it up and the old bike screams. I have bought and sold several bikes but will not part with this one. Just curious mine is a ZN 1100 LTD. but it looks identical to yours without the red (all black). 68 years old and I still ride

    • @bobroe5278
      @bobroe5278 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes. My age is 66
      I weighed in at 148lbs the other day.
      The bike acts like I'm not even on it. I really have to hang of the edge of the seat to get it to corner nicely for me. My boy hit 130 with it and said if he would have had more straightway he could have easily took it to 150.
      I will probably put a 4 into 1 on it with no baffle to really wake the thing up and probably get the neighbors pretty mad.
