These bikes are a blast. I rode it all over. Got mine used and not running. Really didn’t take much to put it back on the road and I showed it a lot of love. It gave me love back. I would go to the local dealership to buy parts for it and all the old mechanics loved it. I rolled up the first time and when I came outside of the store, a lot of the mechanics were gathered around it. I fired it up and they were in love with it. Mine was stock exhaust but my mechanic told me it might have been an upgraded engine because when he did the jetting on it with the original carbs, it ran kind of rough. When he increased the jet size, it ran a lot better. And exhaust was stock but didn’t sound so quiet as this one you are showing. And your bikes are really in top condition and have a detailed history. All I know is 1. What a hell of a great bike, 2. God I miss her. 3. I’m getting another one.
I have the same exact bike 11k miles on it in perfect condition I feel bad for making it a cafe racer but I am keeping all of the original parts in case I want to return it to stock.
I bought that same bike off the showroom floor in 1981 for $4300. Got ticketed for doing over 130 MPH on the interstate. Loved that machine.
I bought a new 1980 in Florida for 3600$.Black and silver w/ tail fin over the fender.Mine got stolen in 81..still not over it!

i had one.I changed sprackets from 15.33 to 12.35. thats a radicle change.
