How to build a DIY indoor or outdoor bar

- In this video, I go over the steps to create your very own DIY indoor or outdoor bar. This project is great for anyone looking to save money and build a bar on their own.
I'm not the first person to build a bar this style so I've linked the plans and videos I followed to create this DIY bar.
Materials used for this project:
(2) 4x4's @ 8 ft long
(7) 2x4's @ 8 ft long
(6) 2x6's @ 8 ft long
(18) fence pickets

Really nice looking my guy. Be nice to know what it cost you to make. Also might be wise to coat the top portion of the bar with something to help prevent any future liquid staining.
Thank you. This is something I should have done early on as this Bar top has seen many liquid spills.

How long is this bar? I'm look to make one 6' long. Do you think I'd need an addition support in the center?
The bar length is 70 inches long so just under 6’. I would recommend adding an addition support in the center.

In the materials i need You put (18) fence picket. What is that? In your video, where do you used it? Thank you.
For the fronts and the sides of the bar you’ll notice that towards the end of the video when I install them. You could use other material as well
How tall was it before finished looks nice man
43 3/8 without the bartop. 45 with the bartop is the total height.

How much dod it cost
Depending on lumber prices in your area it should be around 160-200 total
How much roughly on wood did you spend??
When I built this I believe the rough estimate for the cost of wood was around $220-$240
