*Important* the 1.3 Boards are different than the 1.2 Boards so my prior tutorial no longer applies to the 1.3 Boards so follow the steps in this video to avoid damaging your machine!
PDubs, I just got my V1.3 board! I know it'll be worth the wait :) As you suggested in your first install video (for the 1.2), it'll be best, at least for me, to have a second person help, so I don't hurt any of the wires attached when lifting the monitor. So cool that ToyShock was able to make this happen. I appreciate their persistence in these trying times. Thanks as always for all you do for the community! vgv

Thanks PDubs, received my pcb 1.3 last week and installed it with no issues aside from drilling new holes to screw on the new board to the base. Had to be extra careful lifting the top part off because of the cable attachment. Anyways, Love my Toyshock Pinball! Thanks Linda/Jeff!

Hey pdubs quick question. I have a 1.0 updating to 1.3. First my board was a different size i had to drill new holes. But my qustiin is the wire that drops down from the screen i dont see wherw it plugs in there is no place to plug it in and hence i have video. I followed the video to the letter. Any hell appreciated
Finally finished closing the cabinet, after checking all connections. The backbox lights up, the game audio comes up, but the monitor is shot, and it's out of warranty. LOL Very distraught, over this. I've contacted Linda, but I doubt they'll do anything, as it's out of warranty, and now considered consequentially damaged. Only thing left is to either mod it, when I come into a little more money, or haul it out to the curb, if not. It'll be a long time, before I see that kind of money, again. Oh well.
Thanks for the heads up on the TS being available as a pre-order via Best Buy Canada. But wow!... $729.99 Canadian!! Plus 13% HST bringing the total to $824.89 is utterly insane for this particular product imo. Even with the slight price premium ($729 vs. $999 for an ALP in Canada.) it is now abundantly clear that the Atgames Legends destroys all of its current competition up here. I had expected the TS to come in at $599 or $629 CDN at most. EDIT: as a side note the alternate skin version in Canada is not Black Hole (as many had expected) but "Class of 1812" . I think that the 1812 cabinet art does look good (so maybe that's something)

I will say again that I think the look of of the "1812" art is much nicer than the Haunted House look. Go check it out at Best Buy Canada if you have a chance. Its mostly black. It makes the other colours used in the design really pop.

I don't know pdubs I must have frayed my board cause I have it exactly like this and nothing comes up on the screen. I frayed it again and took the old one back off and followed instructions and nothing. I put in a ticket on toyshock website. I would pay for another monitor and cables and board just to fix my machine. Perplexed.....
I replaced mine now i have no playfield screen,only light I have is the top of the backless,no score lights. I can hear the games load and can hit the balls with the flippers but can't see anything. Any ideas what I did wrong or screwed up?
Sounds like something is not connected correctly I would try again to reconnect everything correctly. If it doesn't work you'll have to follow-up with toy shock directly
I put the old one back In moved the speaker plugin to the slot coolest to the front and I have sound. I have video but it's bad interference so assume it's the monitor cable or screen but screen was working before I screwed up the board. When I put the new board in there was no video. So I thought I could reverse the m oniter cable going into the screen and proof smoke came from the board and monitor cable at the board. So I think I fryed the board, monitor cable red sure and maybe the screen. So I just now put the original board back and my screen is still goofy lines. 1. Bad board 2. Fryed cable 3. Maybe fryed screen I think. I put an email in to toyshock website but nothing back yet. Do I have to contact line direct instead ?
Confirmed. Monitor's ribbon cable connector port got ripped all the way out, and only the capton tape was making it appear it was still connected. It's non-restorable. I've contacted Toyshock, but I doubt they'll send a new monitor, for the reasons I've stated below. What lousy day this turned out to be. 12 hours, shot, along with one Haunted House table, if they don't send a new monitor.
I just received my supposed 1.3 board and it looks nothing like the 1.3 that you are showing in the new installation tutorial. I was in the last 30% that were to get a 1.3 after a year of waiting, I think I have received the 1.2 board instead! Very disappointed!!
e-mailed TS contact and was told all replacement boards have the updated and improved software with the enhanced performance. So by that answer…I’m pretty sure I have the 1.2 board as the replacement. Thanks for the reply Dubs!
