They aren't a "self produced" group and even the guys themselves would only name Suga as the main producer among the members. The Korean Music Copyright Association doesn't take into account production credits at all...they are members of the association because they compose and write their music, not because they produce it. Those various terms aren't interchangeable and I think it's important to be accurate when giving information to newcomers.
I highly recommend watching Taylor Nakamoto's brand new intro to BTS: The Bangtan 7. These guys are very unique and so is their music and immense influence all around the world, politically and in terms of philanthropy.

just some information this song is not called Run but Run BTS, in fact they have another song called Run (which they performed right after this one) it was a big moment for ARMY (the name of their fandom) because it was the first time they sang this song live. also this concert took place yesterday in front of 100000 spectators. it was a free concert to promote the candidacy of the city of Busan to organize the 2030 World Expo. it was also streamed for free on 3 different platforms but it was so crowded that all 3 servers crashed (the one I was on had over 17 million viewers)

I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the concert in Busan and flew from the UK to S Korea. It was an amazing experience, particularly seeing the first ever live performance of this song. I recommend reacting to anything from the Busan concert but also think you would like On Kinetic Manifesto mv, Not Today mv, Black Swan mv and live performance of Idol on Jimmy Fallon (I have just visited the palace where they filmed this in Seoul)! 💜

This is their newest banger that they never performed live until last Saturday. This is the first time they sang this live with a live band and with full choreography! It’s like a perfect gift to Army since they just announced that they will have a break making music as BTS until 2025 because they will be entering military service in the next 3 years. They will be bringing out solo projects in the meantime until they are all in the mandatory service which last around 18 months! Hi loved the reaction. I really love how very obvious it is that they are singing it live, an still it is to this standard while doing a very demanding choreo. They mF slayed this one. One point from me, Black Pink and BTS have two common characteristics : they are korean and they are groups. And the similarities end there. It´s percieved (from the fans point of view) to be, frankly, insulting for BTS to be mentioned in the same sentence as BP. They are nowhere near the same level of succes, influence or anything else. for your consideration: on the 15th BTS held this concert in Busan, that you just watched . 50k people from all over the world filled the stadium there and an estimated 50k more people came to Busan even if they didn´t managed to get a ticket, just to be there and soak up the atmosphere and watch a live play on a big screen. The streets turned purple, and ARMY(bts fans) boosted post covid economy of the city to unbelievable hights. Every room in every hotel was filled, every taxi driver and every restaurant and shop has benefited. on the same evening of15th of october BP held their concert in Seoul and not managed to sell out a 15k arena . It was their opening night of their world tour after 2 years without any new music. completely different realms. A small addition, this concert was streamed for free but the amount of fans literally crashed both Weverse (BTS platform for connecting with fans) and Naver (Korean google). Like on Weverse there were literally over 49 mln people trying to watch the concert with approx the same amount on Naver. I mean it really depends on how you measure “the biggest “. If you take into account just TH-cam views, then these groups are close, but if you consider other factors (economic influence, actual tickets/merch sales in relation to the amount of money spent on promotions, charts, grand prizes received, recognition by the government, etc.) these bands are really far from each other. Like you would not compare The Beatles with other bands even successful, it makes no sense, right? The same goes for BTS. With all respect to BP, the group is amazing and the young ladies are very talented and hard working.

This was from the concert that happened yesterday. This concert was streamed live on three different servers and all of them crashed. The app called WEVERSE alone had 50 million LIVE viewers from all over the world (fun fact south korea's entire population is actually 50 million). I'm not even even counting the viewers on naver and zepeto (the other two apps that live streamed the concert). Over 100k people attended the concert. It was free concert and the first proper concert they had in Korea after 3 years, so all of the members literally gave their all during the concert. This was also the first concert they had in the city of busan (for context, most kpop acts including bts usually hold concert in seoul which is the capital of korea) The last time bts performed in busan was in 2019 (i think) but it was just a fanmeeting, not a proper concert. So this was the first official concert in busan, And the city of busan literally was in bts mode the entire week. The roads, bridges, building were lit up in purple lights (purple is like the official color of bts). The government literally had to improve subway and transport services to control influx of fans in busan, even the police officers were wearing purple bands. It was honestly insane. This performance in particular was iconic. Literally everyone on twitter went batshit crazy, cus it was the first time they performed this song live, and they did not disappoint at all.

I'm afraid Blackpink is a far cry under BTS. Like really in different stratospheres and we don't particularly like the false equivalency there. To put it in perspective BTS & BP just had concerts on the same day this weekend in Korea. BTS had an audience of 100,000 at there's plus another 15,000 watching the live play set up on the beach nearby, plus another 5,000 just listening from outside the stadium (and that's not counting the live viewers which played on 3 platforms and one of those topped out at almost 50M) and Blackpink played to a not-quite-sold-out arena of 15,000. BTS has 67(?--they just won several more a couple weeks ago so that number might be one or two off) Daesangs (which are like grand prizes at award shows--Artist/Song/Album of the Year) in their career, Blackpink has 0. By every metric BTS is just on an entirely different level except for TH-cam views (though we have about 10x the content they do since they've released less than 30 songs in their almost 7 year career) and they also are notorious for using streaming farms. So just FYI, please don't put them in the same category.

Sorry but you mentioned Blackpink at the beginning. Bruuuuh. BTS and BP cannot be compared! They are not on the same level. BTS is so much more talented than Blackpink! BTS writes, produces their songs with meaningful lyrics! BP is only a grilgroup with moderate talented model like girlies.
One thing that may not be apparent right away - when people say "BTS and X or Y" are the two biggest groups in the world, that's like saying "The blue whale and the elephant are the two biggest mammals in the world." It may be true that they're in the top 2, but the weight difference between #1 and #2 is 300 tons. 😂 Plenty of talented and beautiful people out there, but in terms of lyricism and performance, make no mistake - nobody else is playing at BTS' level.

Then I’m assuming the rest will be entering next year . They’re all going to regroup after their 2 year enlistment in 2025. This is news a lot of us fans were afraid but knew it was coming . The Korean Music Copyright Association doesn't take into account production credits at all...they are members of the association because they compose and write their music, not because they produce it. Those various terms aren't interchangeable and I think it's important to be accurate when giving information to newcomers.

When they say Run Bulletproof, it's telling themselves to keep on running, keep on moving forward. They've been going strong since their debut June 13, 2013. This concert was a FREE concert put on to help the city of Busan hopefully win the bid for hosting the 2030 World Expo.

I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the concert in Busan and flew from the UK to S Korea. It was an amazing experience, particularly seeing the first ever live performance of this song. I recommend reacting to anything from the Busan concert but also think you would like On Kinetic Manifesto mv, Not Today mv, Black Swan mv and live performance of Idol on Jimmy Fallon (I have just visited the palace where they filmed this in Seoul)! 💜

This is their newest banger that they never performed live until last Saturday. This is the first time they sang this live with a live band and with full choreography! It’s like a perfect gift to Army since they just announced that they will have a break making music as BTS until 2025 because they will be entering military service in the next 3 years. They will be bringing out solo projects in the meantime until they are all in the mandatory service which last around 18 months! So this is a great opportunity to explore BTS since they have tons of content out there. If you love music, you love pop, you love great choreography...you will love BTS! Important tip...make sure you turn on subtitles if available Cos their lyrics are amazing and deep. You don’t see that much in Kpop...

One point from me, Black Pink and BTS have two common characteristics : they are korean and they are groups. And the similarities end there. It´s percieved (from the fans point of view) to be, frankly, insulting for BTS to be mentioned in the same sentence as BP.
They are nowhere near the same level of succes, influence or anything else.
for your consideration: on the 15th BTS held this concert in Busan, that you just watched . 50k people from all over the world filled the stadium there and an estimated 50k more people came to Busan even if they didn´t managed to get a ticket, just to be there and soak up the atmosphere and watch a live play on a big screen. The streets turned purple, and ARMY(bts fans) boosted post covid economy of the city to unbelievable hights. Every room in every hotel was filled, every taxi driver and every restaurant and shop has benefited.
on the same evening of15th of october BP held their concert in Seoul and not managed to sell out a 15k arena . It was their opening night of their world tour after 2 years without any new music.

A small addition, this concert was streamed for free but the amount of fans literally crashed both Weverse (BTS platform for connecting with fans) and Naver (Korean google). Like on Weverse there were literally over 49 mln people trying to watch the concert with approx the same amount on Naver.
I mean it really depends on how you measure “the biggest “. If you take into account just TH-cam views, then these groups are close, but if you consider other factors (economic influence, actual tickets/merch sales in relation to the amount of money spent on promotions, charts, grand prizes received, recognition by the government, etc.) these bands are really far from each other.
Like you would not compare The Beatles with other bands even successful, it makes no sense, right? The same goes for BTS.

This was from the concert that happened yesterday. This concert was streamed live on three different servers and all of them crashed. The app called WEVERSE alone had 50 million LIVE viewers from all over the world (fun fact south korea's entire population is actually 50 million). I'm not even even counting the viewers on naver and zepeto (the other two apps that live streamed the concert).
Over 100k people attended the concert. It was free concert and the first proper concert they had in Korea after 3 years, so all of the members literally gave their all during the concert.
This was also the first concert they had in the city of busan (for context, most kpop acts including bts usually hold concert in seoul which is the capital of korea) The last time bts performed in busan was in 2019 (i think) but it was just a fanmeeting, not a proper concert. So this was the first official concert in busan, And the city of busan literally was in bts mode the entire week. The roads, bridges, building were lit up in purple lights (purple is like the official color of bts). The government literally had to improve subway and transport services to control influx of fans in busan, even the police officers were wearing purple bands. It was honestly insane.
This performance in particular was iconic. Literally everyone on twitter went batshit crazy, cus it was the first time they performed this song live, and they did not disappoint at all.

I'm afraid Blackpink is a far cry under BTS. Like really in different stratospheres and we don't particularly like the false equivalency there. To put it in perspective BTS & BP just had concerts on the same day this weekend in Korea. BTS had an audience of 100,000 at there's plus another 15,000 watching the live play set up on the beach nearby, plus another 5,000 just listening from outside the stadium (and that's not counting the live viewers which played on 3 platforms and one of those topped out at almost 50M) and Blackpink played to a not-quite-sold-out arena of 15,000. BTS has 67(?--they just won several more a couple weeks ago so that number might be one or two off) Daesangs (which are like grand prizes at award shows--Artist/Song/Album of the Year) in their career, Blackpink has 0. By every metric BTS is just on an entirely different level except for TH-cam views (though we have about 10x the content they do since they've released less than 30 songs in their almost 7 year career) and they also are notorious for using streaming farms. So just FYI, please don't put them in the same category.

Sorry but you mentioned Blackpink at the beginning. Bruuuuh. BTS and BP cannot be compared! They are not on the same level. BTS is so much more talented than Blackpink! BTS writes, produces their songs with meaningful lyrics! BP is only a grilgroup with moderate talented model like girlies.
One thing that may not be apparent right away - when people say "BTS and X or Y" are the two biggest groups in the world, that's like saying "The blue whale and the elephant are the two biggest mammals in the world." It may be true that they're in the top 2, but the weight difference between #1 and #2 is 300 tons. 😂 Plenty of talented and beautiful people out there, but in terms of lyricism and performance, make no mistake - nobody else is playing at BTS' level.
That's a good way to put it, I don't really like putting others down when it comes to lifting BTS up, but the truth it there is very little to compare.
I'm sure alot of Army will tell you that "Run BTS" And "Run" by BTS are two distinctly different songs. One thing that makes them the same is that they are both amazing songs done by an outstanding group of young men . BTS is a great group, they write, compose, produce and co-produce their songs. They have a variety of generes for everyone, you can choose any other song that catches your attention as they have more than 200 songs, it will take you many hours and days to travel through their discography without counting their mixtapes and solo songs.
Maybe you'd want to start with the songs from their anthology album:Proof. Is a good introduction to get a general idea of the group music.
BTS are true artis and deep thinkers, they are one of the few kpop groups that are truly involved and passionate in their music. They talk about important and relatable subjects. Still this dosen't mean you'd become a fan of theirs.

That's right but I think you got it wrong about the online viewers of their yesterday concert. It was almost 45 million online viewers and it's only on their weverse app not including on the other online platforms where it was also telecast . 😅
