I have my RA interview tomorrow. I am currently sitting in my lounge watching this video and practicing these questions you have mentioned. I can comfortably say I am much more confident than what I was merely a few hours ago. Great Content! Thanks a lot Alyssa!

@@belvinaxoxo3631 Hi! My interview included questions regarding diversity and certain scenario related problems and my potential response towards them. One thing I would highly suggest is talking about your experiences as much as you can. Don't necessarily brag about stuff but talk about things you've done in the past and why you're the best person for the job. For example, you DON'T want to show desperation for the job as many applicants look only for the benefits, the hosts can see who is serious or not. Second, you have to remain cool, calm and collected and lastly I had a question regarding leadership. So instead of saying that 'oh I'm a great leader.. I'm this... I'm that..', I spoke about my experience as a safety captain in my high school robotics team, my influence on the members and the impact I was about to make. Hope this helps!

    WHAT IS RA ?

Resident Assistant. Pretty much you live on campus in the dorms, but you usually have a room to yourself. You’re assigned to a certain building or floor, you can decorate and be creative, but there’s also serious work like when you’re on call. You’ll put in work orders, handle any conflict there is between your residents if necessary, etc.
