Ruby's birthday is canonically October 31st however as far as I am aware the people of Remnant celebrating Halloween is not necessarily canon.

Episode 24 is a whole reference to the Christmas movie called "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" XD... but the end was so funny cause it's logical XD
As others have said...Ruby Chibi is non-canon. But Ruby’s birthday reveal is the only thing that’s actually canon.
But the thing is, whether halloween actually is a holiday or just a gag is unknown.
yess I'm so happy you finally made it to these episodes. A Slip Through Time and Space part 2 is by far my FAVORITE rwby chibi episode. I mean, come on, it's the best advertisement I've ever seen in my life!
It is also pretty funny when Nora asks if the merch is afordable and then they show a super expensive 17 dollar box of cereal.
Neo was the only villain who actually fought in battle of the bands. And pretty well since she only had a microphone holder and was fighting an ax wielding Yang.

Since Ruby's birthday is confirmed to be October 31st that means Remnant has the same calendar months and days. This opens up so many doors and means we could potentially get an actual timeline for the volumes.
