This interview was taped in April 1975, just a little over 3 weeks before Moe passed away; I remember seeing the announcement of Moe's death at the time, then seeing this on TV when I was 11 years old, and wondered why they waited to air this nearly a year after his death. While Moe was clearly very frail and sickly in this clip, he was still very sharp and in as high of spirits as he could be in the last days of his life. The Stooges were a godsend to me, as I'd loved them from a very early age, and I still love them nearing age 60; my 18 year old son also loved them since he was old enough to walk and talk! The Stooges will indeed live long after all of us are gone...they are forever and immortal!
Seen this video before but every time I watch it, it takes me back to when my grandpa introduced me to the stooges on TV back in the end of the 70’s. I was hooked ever since. Of course with DVD and their whole collection being out I can watch them anytime I want plus watch them on METV in Chicago.

Joe Besser Is so good. He is very underrated as a Stooge.
Now it's almost 90 years ago since the Stooges started making their comedies for Columbia.
Sad that Moe died shortly after this interview.
I wonder why coverage of the Three Stooges usually leaves out the years of Curly Joe De Rita.....???
