Hi! I wanted everyone to know that Jean is turning 70 tomorrow, May 25th, and working hard to get back to her bass ~ www.gofundme.com/jean-millington-go Thank you all who are pouring the love, notes, and donations her way towards the GO! stroke recovery fund. Incredible! I can tell you Jean's been blown away by all the love you all are showing, she didn't know she had so many friends and fans! When you write a note - that counts for a lot, too. Keep It coming Love! xx June
59 yr old man, love late 1960's, early 1970's rock, blues driven music, huge fan...Can't believe I haven't discovered you guys, FANNY, until about 3 weeks ago, since then, become a huge fan...LOVE you guys...great musicians...you deserve the HOF as ground breakers...deserve it, far more than some in...just regret not finding earlier....🥰🥰🥰
I was Class of '77 and Into all sorts of music, especially Rock-n-Roll... So why have I not heard of these lady pioneers of rock until just recently..?! I feel cheated...
Such talent that the entire world did not get to experience 50 years ago. Your legion of fans in 2021 love Fanny, June and Jean, as well as the other members of the old band. I hope Jean is doing well and is recovering from her stroke. Thank God for TH-cam so that we can now experience what we didn't get to in the late 60s and early 70s. I'm 63 and your music, past and present brings me joy and keeps an old guy rocking.
Not just one of the greatest female rock bands of the 70's (or anywhen else).......one of the greatest rock bands ever. I love your music......always........best wishes and thank you.
This song is fantastic! The melody, singing, lyrics and the playing 💜Why it's not a world wide hit, making piles of 💲💵💲💵💲💵💲 every year, I really don't understand. This song deserves a "Stranger Things X" situation☮
Wow! Such a breath of fresh air in a polluted world. I grew up with the song "Blind Alley". Hadn't thought about it in decades to be honest. Ran into it here on TH-cam and ended up going down a Fanny rabbit hole. I never thought of Fanny as a female Rock band. Just a Rock band that had a song I really liked. Being introduced to the material I had never heard is like finding gold in a coal mine (unexpected yet welcomed). Hearing modern music from a couple of the original members after 40+ years is the icing on the cake! Beautiful song that shows you still have "IT"!
Hi June from England, This is wonderful as i keep discovering more of your recent music, thanks to You Tube! Hope you and Jean are well, my favourite girl rock musicians.....
I'm chiming in many years late. I wish I had known of Fanny in the early seventies but I'm so glad I found June and Jean in 2023. The family photos are so precious. Thanks for creating and sharing all of the videos.
ANO BAYAN!? I knew of Fanny and thought it was really cool all female with rockin sounds. I just recently found out about your heritage and history. I am blown away with what you have accomplished. Simply amazing, I am totally inspired. Love u guys!! Keep rockin....forever
@@JuneEsWorld Oh WOOOW man. I just corresponded with June Millington! ;0) Will you marry me? LOL I was born in 58, but I started listening to music quite young. Thus, I totally loved the music of the 60's and 70' generations. When I watch your video "Ain't that peculiar (72)" it completely takes me back to the bell bottom, hippie (if you will) sort of environment and times. My father met my mother when he was in the Air Force and stationed in England in the mid 50's. I'm guessing your parents met in a similar fashion. Thx for the reply June! BTW, you are still a total doll. (hope that comes across as a compliment - I think I'm old enough to get away with saying "doll") regards, David Jones from Santa Fe, NM. Hope you are well and staying safe.
Awesome contribution to the endless goldmine of music from the 60s and 70s. I'm 50 now and been mining since I was a kid and it truly never stops giving....another fantastic band.
Absolutely legendary ! Past , present, and future!! What a treasure you both are !! Thanks for being here, on the internet to interact and continue sharing at such a high level- I may never be able to play or compose as well as you do- but- I'll never quit , thanks to your inspiration - you are a high temple to seek! I'm excited an grateful to be able to listen to you whenever I want to and to be able to share your music with as many as i can.

I didn’t know Fanny till a couple of weeks before. I was highly surprised for the sound and the perfection of the performance in all of four girls. I’m a fan after 50 years! Kind Regards from Spain!
@gr ve Hmmm ... well, Jean had a stroke, did you know that? She's in recovery; and Nicky's basically incommunicado. So you'll just have to take what you can! June

o you mean John Spinks the guitarist, or someone else? In any event, thanks for letting me (us) know. (by the way, written during the 1st Gulf War. We were living, at the time, in Davis, not far from McClatchy High in Sacto, where Jean and I went when we started the Svelts. I was remembering how much hope we had then, then to see it dramatized and commercialized on tv ... I was appalled. But still I remember when "everything seemed like a Ticket to Wonderful":)) xx
