maybe I missed this in your setup but you probably want to have exhaust going out a window you don't fill up your room with spores and breathe them in, especially if you're growing mushrooms with high spore amounts like oysters
Very nice! When the humidifier pipe is turned up though, does it not start collecting water right at the bend, or is it at a slight decline where the water runs back into the humidifier?
Why do you need to mist the bags? I would understand if you had uncovered trays with colonized substrate in there but the way you are doing it in this video doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me Am I missing something?
Yeah as far as I was aware the light triggers fruiting because the mycelium is usually underground and then when it reaches the surface it knows it's time to fruit.
The ideal temperature depends on the species you're growing so I'd look online for the ideal range for your species and maybe just get a small electric heater for your grow room if you don't wanna heat your whole house to that temperature.
@@maxatrillionfatstacks Right on. I have a small pad for heat now. It gets quite cold in my area which really complicates growing. I am going to build a larger container to keep them in for heating prior to fruiting. The box can be a little microclimate area for now. Thanks
@@johnbauby6612 no problem, you also can help fruiting and colonization keeping the temperature slightly warmer during colonization and dropping it like five degrees or so when you're gonna transfer the spawn to the fruiting chamber. That mimics the conditions that causes them to fruit in the wild which is a temperature drop from rain.
@juint I put my spawn jars and petri dishes in cabinets. My house temp is around 55-60F and with a heating pad the ambient temp in the cabinets is 75-80. The spider farmer pad is 20 inches x 10 inches and it does a good job of heating. I elevate them off of the pad for indirect heat and I recommend a thermostat because I have one pad without one and it does not regulate heat. It is always full bore and it gets to almost 90 in the cabinet which is a bit high. With a thermostat I can set the proper temp. One pad per cabinet. ALso, I saw someone use two tubs one inside the other with a heating pad in the bottom tub to generate more radiant heat. Haven't tried that but it looks good too.
Nice setup. I'm recently growing Lion's Mane in my chamber
Great point on the already sterilized pellets! I never even thought about it.
Thanks for sharing
nice job man!
Oh thankyou. I

Hi Yes. It was going out the window. Next time we set it up it will be in a garage.
Set mine up in the laundry room, push it right out the laundry vent.
Carbon filters work wonders.
Does filter help?

Very very good
Does this raise the humidity in the room, or does the tent manage to contain it all?

Great question
why do you mist the plastic bags?
All of this is not needed to grow mushies bro. The fogger is poimtless during inoculation
I don't understand the point of this but I think it cool

Great set up. Sort of similar to mine.
That's awesome
What fogger/humidifier are you using? I've been having trouble finding a good reptile fogger to use.
I got my stuff's from online store they got Lsd, Mushroom, Xanax, extascy, chocolate bars and psychedelic products which they also deliver...?...?

What % of humidity needed?
90-100% bro. Authentic is a cool name, Much respect
I did this with a large cardboard box
How many pounds can you grow from this set up
It helps colonization to leave them in darkness until you cut the slits from my experience. Are you doing this?
👆👆👆👆I recently started microdosing and using psilocybin coupled with therapy.

I agree I don’t know, but I thought they like shade.

Terrible explanations. Stop moving the camera around.
Pretty bad huh. We sold that house. Was learning at the time and will set it all up again soon.

Hey there- What is your ambient temperature there? I grow in a cold environment and have been having issues with slow growth.
