I am so grateful you figure out the measurements on the card sketches. I love your cards, your style -you're very inspirational to me- but doing the math is a true service to humanity. :-)
I personally have never tried the flakes either. However, I have been told that they are easier to use if you brush off the extra with a very stiff bristle paint brush. You could also try holding g the small pieces with a craft pick while you brush them so your fingers dont get in the way. I absolutely love these cards. But then again i always love the cards you make.

First of all, I love your rose gold nail polish! I always look to see how you match your polish to your cards! Secondly, you need a scrubbie for the gilding flakes. It's invaluable for smoothing them out on your surface. Gilding flakes are quite addictive so be forewarned!! Lastly, these cards are fabulous and, as always, I will make them exactly as you did. It's so wonderful that you provide all measurements on your blog. I can't wait for my kit!! Great video as always and thank you so much for the inspiration! Hugs!!

What you saw in this video was literally my first attempt. And that was after watching a couple TH-cam videos. Lol! I’m really more of a pattern paper and stamps kind of crafter. But I love that Lizi pushes me outside my comfort zone to try new things. Guess I’ll have to give the flakes another try. With a scrubbie. 🙂

Irene Grau I have selected a sketch that I quickly didn’t enjoy. That’s when I’ll start tweaking it a bit more more so that I’ll still be happy with the finished card. With my busy summer schedule, it will still be several months before I get a how to video series put together. I’m aiming for a craft room tour early fall.
