He is much better, although I don't share this in the series but he ended up in the hospital again in Sri Lanka - it was just an ear infection this time.
What neighbourhood are you staying in? Also yesterday I learned what heat hive are! I thought I was bitten by a spider but the tingly feeling was my skin exploding....
A great video introducing Bandung. It isn't as bad as you say it is. I also carry plastic boxes when I visit Japan, but I go one step further. I just bring the takeaway boxes provided at the restaurants. Most Asians will just reuse whatever they find at home and not buy new ones when possible. You would hate Japan with its insatiable appetite for plastic. But hopefully we can have a chat about that one day!
@@ayngelina It makes me sad. In Japan, I used to just take any plastic bag. At the end of the trip I had dozens of small shopping bags. Now I bring a tote bag which is so much better.
@ayngelina I knew nothing about Bandung before watching this video. I can see why you love it. Having 10-15 degree cooler temps is a huge plus! Once I get my permanent residency in Ecuador, I hope to explore Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Be safe!❤
Cuenca maintains a Spring like weather because of the clouds, it keeps the heat in. It can get cold in some months but so do places in Bandung because of the elevation.
This could be a long story but way back in high school around February I’d always get sick and super tired. No one could figure out what it was and I played tons of sports so it wasn’t lack of exercise. I started eating 7-10 servings of vegetables a day and I felt better. And even today if I have a green juice in the morning I don’t need a coffee all day. And when we go to airport lounges I’m always most excited to see a salad bar. I’ve never been a big fan of western breakfasts and so any time we stay somewhere with a kitchen or I’m at home visiting salad for breakfast is such a treat.
Talking about "bread", don't buy it from the supermarkets, doesn't matter even from the fancy ones, they're all shites. Same thing in America, their bread is shite too. Next time, get your bread from the bakery!
I don't usually eat bread in South East Asia, I really hate the sugar added so I avoid it all together. Alan is Indonesian so he eats it as the sugar is normal for him. At home in Nova Scotia we have a lot of great bakeries where most people buy.
I have a website about food around the world, I've been traveling full time for 14 years with a stop in Canada 2020-2021 when I decided I would start shooting video. My website is BaconisMagic.ca
Selemat Pagi, A & A! Still hot here @100. Love Bandung, tempeh(my fav) walking, walking, cool weather! Orang disana bagus sedalia! Berapa harganya menyewa apt? Yes, i will carry a blender! Terima kasih. 💙
@@ayngelina Thanks. Enjoy Bandung with great deals! U did say $350 US 4 one month within walking distance of fresh food & a gym! Still broiling here @100. Fire season. I feel like being in Ecuador for so long helped me become more comfortable with earthquakes as you could feel small ones daily. But it triggered something for Alan and so now we're only staying in places that are lower than the 10th floor.
Welcome to Bandung.
Paradise of food, friendly people, cheap shopping.
Happy travelling.
Enjoy your life
It really is a fantastic place.
Suka dengan pembawaan anda..semoga Chanel mu berkembang setiap harinya good luck ❤
kamu sangat baik, terima kasih banyak 🥰
Welcome back to Indonesia and have fun!
Thank you!
wow - amazing view from your balcony!
It was my favourite part
Very cool video. Will be fun to see how you live a typical life in Bandung. Enjoy your time off from travel!
We got sick so no more videos from Bandung....I actually had to take Alan to the hospital. But this week new series in Sri Lanka :)
@@ayngelina So sorry to hear about Alan. Hope he is feeling better. Yes, we are excited to see Sri Lanka!

@@ayngelina Yeah, traveling takes its toll on the body. We just landed in Jakarta and looking forward to creating some fun content here.

Dago, Lembang and Pangalengan in south Bandung have even cooler weather...
Enjoy and stay safe guys...
I would like to check these places out.
Dago, and Lembang is North Bandung by the way. Don't go south. South Bandung is the bronx side of Bandung, bad trafic, slum, low education people.
Thanks for the heads up!
Welcome to Bandung...I usually pass this apartment when I go to work
That's cool!

You know the other weird thing that I get upset about. Stapling receipts. Imaging how many staples are used for no reason.
@@ayngelina I get annoyed as well. And guess what! Japan will annoy you soooo much. They like to staple receipts😆
nooooooooooooo
Bandung is the best city
It really is 💕

The best way to explain it is Indonesias Cuenca 😊
@@ayngelina Cuenca would have been much colder at night, since it is more than 2000 metres above sea level

hey whats with that salad in the mornings? Sounds like you're on a slimming regime!

yea bakery in Indonesia is sh*t . full of sugar because everyone are addicted to sugar, food are too sweet for me.
Much of South East Asia is like that, although Laos and Cambodia were colonized by the French so they have good pastries.

This apartment was 350 on airbnb but long term rentals are likely half that. Coming up we're going to look at renting in Thailand to compare.
