Why not ? The only hard thing to flex off inner "thing" that left on hub assy :) You can do it without press, jusat good hammer and with right thinking. To press the new bearing with wise or long screw with apropriate bushings or wrench heads. Somethimes hammer is better than press because with press you can destroy parts if not used properly.
