this and boundaries are currently having a dog fight right now for my aoty as well, and I'm pretty sure imminence and knocked loose are gonna join that fight.
I love it when bands keep their hardest heaters for the album release and not as a single. Haunter and Mangekyo caught me way off guard in the best way possible! 🔥🔥🔥
Wasn't expecting this album to smash as hard as it does, especially being more into WSS/ERRA/Northlane and all these albums dropping within a couple weeks. God DAMN.
@@zdoggzero6595 danggg that sucks, maybe next time they roll around. I put in for a vacation that week lol first day off is the alpha wolf show and then I have the week to recover!🤣
@@Paradox-or5tk lmao nice, I’d put in a personal day but I’m waiting on if BFMV and Trivium are gonna be around my area on the US wing of Poisoned Ascendancy
Very good album but I liked A Quiet Place to Die more, it felt more dynamic. For me Boundaries got the AOTY for now, let’s see what Knocked Loose brings :)
After the first two singles came out i was like they are good but didnt really have me excited for the album…… man did this album destroy my doubt. It’s so good. This and new Boundaries are just amazing
Album is really good, but in my opinion it lacks variety a little and personally i'm not a fan of those cleans at all, overall still great and it's 8.9/10, the heavy aspect is on point.
Can’t believe Drew Fortune through the fattest “meh” at this album. Wouldn’t say it’s close to A Quiet Place to Die- they really created a masterpiece of a concept album there. Can’t wait for their Aussie tour this August… i will be there 😈
Holy shit this album is so fucking good It's heavy as shit, grooves are amazing, lyrics go hard, pissed as fuck vocals, and the GUITAR TONE IS SO GOOD. Literally the thickest tone probably my favorite album this year so far
I thought Boundaries and ERRA had AOTY, but THIS ALBUM is quality to a T throughout every second of every track. Alpha Wolf has taken over ladies and gentlemen
For me, for now, the previous album is still better. It's not a bad album, it's just that it's a lot to take in at the moment or something along those lines.
I've been listening to alpha wolf since the beginning, the people disappointed with this album i think will have a better time listening to Dealer instead, but how they can say this album isnt good is crazy to me.
Yeah I don't get it. This is literally the band's best work. They retained their sound and refined it even further while incorporating new elements that keep their music fresh.
Haunted surely is haunting, besides being unnecessaritly heavy lol. It's like getting slapped in the face with a brick wall. Who the hell pissed these guys off?
I loved the album, the second 6 batch of songs goes hardest than the first 6 batch BUT... BUT... That song, pretty boy, the lyrics made me like... "What the?". But still a 8.5 album, a lot of pissedcore, a few ballads to sauce the tracklist and they kill both styles so hard.
@@The_KlaVraI agree, like the album struggled tonally in lyrics selection with tracks like "whenever you're ready" compared to "sucks 2 suck" or "pretty boy"
Enjoyed this a fair bit but it has NOTHING on ERRA for me! They delivered exactly what I expected which is great but just means it doesn’t stick with me as much
This album absolutly slaps, but I'm sorry the cover art is so ugly (in my opinion). Anyways I'm gonna see them live for the first time in june and I'm so hyped!!
Most of these bands just keep getting heavier these days and I couldn’t be happier. This album is disgusting, and I’m like you and some others - I’m torn between this and the new Boundaries record for AOTY so far
I really didn’t enjoy the singles at all, but the rest of the album is awesome. Especially the second half, and that stretch of 4-5 songs towards the end with Mangekyo, A Terrible Day For Rain, Feign, and Garden of Eyes. And then the closer had so many cool extra details like the features of vocalists from Invent Animate, Northlane, Fit For A King, Silent Planet, Polaris, Make Them Suffer, Void of Vision, and Stray From The Path. And I actually enjoyed the singles this time when in the context of the album. This album honestly came out of nowhere and blew me away. A near perfect album that will definitely be considered for AOTY at the end of the year. 9/10
Count your teeth
Pick em up is actually goated callout
this and boundaries are currently having a dog fight right now for my aoty as well, and I'm pretty sure imminence and knocked loose are gonna join that fight.
Like Moths To Flames aswell
Same thought I'm having. Idk which one is better. I'll let my thoughts decide it at the end of the year
And dont forget loathe too. This is gonna be a huge year for metal
Boundaries was a bit generic imo
Knocked Loose is about to ARF ARF this whole fight
I think they found their sound with this album and they really took advantage of it. It's so fkn heavy, bouncy and fun to listen to. Loved it.
I love alpha wolf and this album even surprised me. A terrible day for rain is really THAT song
You get a AOTY, you get a AOTY, you get a AOTY!
Alpha Wolf, Boundaries, Avralize, Defocus, WSS, Erra, The Wise Man's Fear... What a great year so far.
Bro tried to sneak While She Sleeps onto the list 😅
Nah bro that While She Sleeps album is bad
2024 is pretty damn sick so far ngl. WE ARE EATING GOOD
BOUNDARIES, ALPHA WOLF, IMMINENCE and KNOCKED LOOSE nothing more to say 🖤

this album and this reaction is way too entertaining to ignore it :) this was so much fun to listen to on stream :)
