@katnisscullen1469 look, i agree with you. And i also dont like for example muslim extremists. But, with a correct immigration process, vetting, visa and CUIL (like your tax number) people are traceable and accountable for their acts and will have to behave properly, Milei is overhauling security forces and its already giving fenomenal results. Argentina needs multiculturalism like it did back then, but we need a responsible immigration process to mitigate risks associated to people not assimilating into culture. Before any of this happens, Milei said that once economy recovers, the state of benefit (aka subsidising everything) has to end, then immigration will take place, this will deter economical migrants who want to live from govt welfare, and now its basically 45% of our population on welfare, HUGE PROBLEM
I'd like to correct the river thing, its actually kind of a disadvantage as paraguay utilized those very same rivers to invade argentina during the war of the triple alliance even if argentina won in the end.
@@neroatlas9121 Firstly, Argentina had Brazil and Uruguay as allies. Paraguay used the river in its movements, but at the same time it was a limitation. The Brazilian navy ended up blocking their way. And they could not bring cavalry, while on the side of the triple alliance there was good cavalry. Loading and unloading artillery from ships wasn´t easy. The problem of Argentina was complex, only a few provinces made an effort in the Paraguayan invasion, there was no Argentine army prepared to respond immediately, many troops refused to fight against Paraguay.
8:00 I don't agree. International politics and powerful corporations interventions in third world countries are HIGHLY responsible for their development. There are a lot of interests at stake. Local politics and citizens culture are just a part of the explanation...
Very informative video! I think the culture and political system plays a vital role when you compare East Asian countries with South American Countries. If argentina has the same working culture as japan, as well as the same political system as China, it may beceom top 3 in the world.
Our political system is similar to China's in just how horribly inefficient and corrupt it is. We're trying to move away from that Fair enough about the working culture though, some people here are truly stupid and think protesting for welfare is a job.
Was not the plan to have another superpower in the Americas.. just USA so Argentina needed to go down.. and that ppl use their corruption as a way to achieve that
cuando la torta es tan grande nadie la quiere largar, en Argentina las clases que dominan la economia (ganadera y agricola) intervienen en la politica y en las decisiones quedandose con tierras y dinero a niveles impensados. buen video! nice!
As an argentinian I agree with you: Argentina´s geography is amazing. But we have several negative greographical issues: 1) We are far away from the main international commerce flows. 2) From Patagonia to the Puna in the north, we have what we call: the dry diagonal. 3/4 of Argentina is dryness or a desert. 3) Our population is over concentrated in Buenos Aires metropolitan region.
Amazing video of my beloved country. One small correction though, in timestamp 6:54 you show a famous building and pass it off as "Buenos Aires." This building is famously known as "the beehive" (in Spanish, "el panal") and it is the executive government building of the city of Cordoba, Argentina. Which is the second most important city after Buenos Aires (in my opinion). There are strong rivalries between these two cities to become the center of economic development so it would be like confusing LA with NYC. Cordoba is the main province that voted President Milei into power these last elections winning by a landslide in that province (74% in Cordoba, the national average was 55% for Milei), where leftist Buenos Aires came through for the Peronist. So there are important differences in the work force and work culture between these cities. Cordoba is not a city to be sidelined or trifled with. Many automobile brands have factories over there such as Toyota and Volkswagen. FYI I am neither from Cordoba or Buenos Aires so my assessment is from an independent POV.

La cruz de Borgoña!
There is not. Those islands do not below to Argentina and the population is British. Stop your useless war mongering? Why do you want to inflict suffering on those innocent people living there?
Desde el siglo 19
@RK-cj4oc Malvinas was property before it's independence to Spain and technically is part of the Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata territory and it was illegally occupied by the U.K.
@@alternatelatam No. It was owned by Spain who had no legal right to the land just how they did not have a right to the land of Argentina. Las malvinas was abandont and then colonised by the British and the islanders still feel british. You have no right to them. Stop being imperialistic.

Man yours animations are incredible, but I noticed two things: in the minute 6:52 you put a video of Córdoba like if was Buenos Aires and the second thing, I don't know if you are from the UK, but it's important for us to include the Malvinas in the map, thanks.
Thank you, I'll consider it.
really nice video! Hopefuly with Milei we will find a way to come to surface and stop drawning
Greetings from Argentina!
So sad that Argentina can't get its act together and become a wealthy nation.
It keeps going up and down, no other consistency.
That changed my brother, we turned 180° in politics and elected one of the most influential economist in the world as of now. Good thing are about to come, maybe another wave of mass immigration to our country? Who knows, only exciting things are ahead
But look, you have quite a fight ahead of you, changing your situation is not easy and it requires several years of continuous battle, what I want to say is try to choose what is right more than once and continuously because ruining everything that has already been done is very easy due to the delicate situation, Good luck Latino brothers
And I say this because of Dilma, Brazil was in 6th place in the global economy at the beginning of the century, a horrible president like Dilma sank the country and made us fall to 12th place
@@Chicão_Santos its a cultural problem, deep in our societys roots, Peron will always be like a hero to the minds of the low class which are now majority, not knowing that because of him and disidents we are now ruined for at least a generation
Before any of this happens, Milei said that once economy recovers, the state of benefit (aka subsidising everything) has to end, then immigration will take place, this will deter economical migrants who want to live from govt welfare, and now its basically 45% of our population on welfare, HUGE PROBLEM
excelent video, i'm argentine and i think if we improve own economic policy can we great again.
For some reason I thought the thumbnail was Java instead of Argentina
haha!
Really good! I've watched it from Bariloche, in argentinian Patagonia.
I'd like to correct the river thing, its actually kind of a disadvantage as paraguay utilized those very same rivers to invade argentina during the war of the triple alliance even if argentina won in the end.
Thank you for the comment. However, Rivers and swamps are definitely a form of disruption for any invasion from the north.
@@VeeVexGeo yeah, just informing that while it looks like a blessing, it also counts as a disadvantage.
Not at all
@@gonzalogarcia6240 yes they did, read about the use of said rivers by paraguay, they utilized them for advances against argentina.
Excellent video. Very accurate. Our reality is exactly like that. We are rich yet we are poor.
The Malvinas Islands have been omitted, which are rich in invaders.
What a beautiful country. Greetings from Salta
8:00 I don't agree. International politics and powerful corporations interventions in third world countries are HIGHLY responsible for their development. There are a lot of interests at stake. Local politics and citizens culture are just a part of the explanation...
👏👏👏
i'd like to see this video updated on 2027... will we rise again? great video, cheers
6:51 that's Cordoba City not Buenos Aires!
Still Argentina..
que buen video, aprendi cosas de mi propio pais que no sabia ni yo
Very informative video! I think the culture and political system plays a vital role when you compare East Asian countries with South American Countries. If argentina has the same working culture as japan, as well as the same political system as China, it may beceom top 3 in the world.
and Brazil could be top 1
Our political system is similar to China's in just how horribly inefficient and corrupt it is. We're trying to move away from that
Fair enough about the working culture though, some people here are truly stupid and think protesting for welfare is a job.
''political system as china''.....yeah right.
Argentina is the prime example of everything a country must NOT do in social, cultural and economic matters
@@lucadappiano8758Could you give some examples of that?

Was not the plan to have another superpower in the Americas.. just USA so Argentina needed to go down.. and that ppl use their corruption as a way to achieve that
cuando la torta es tan grande nadie la quiere largar, en Argentina las clases que dominan la economia (ganadera y agricola) intervienen en la politica y en las decisiones quedandose con tierras y dinero a niveles impensados. buen video! nice!

As an argentinian I agree with you: Argentina´s geography is amazing. But we have several negative greographical issues:
1) We are far away from the main international commerce flows.
2) From Patagonia to the Puna in the north, we have what we call: the dry diagonal. 3/4 of Argentina is dryness or a desert.
3) Our population is over concentrated in Buenos Aires metropolitan region.
Nice video, but you put some pictures of the patagonia that are not in argentina , but in Chile.

Argentina has an awesome geography and potential, and now with the new gov the economic sector is going to get a lot better
el nuevo gobierno lo que quiere hacer es regalarle todos los recursos a extranjeros y empobrecer más a los argentinos.
It's exactly the opposite 😢
In terms of Geography, Argentina and chile are "along with China, india and Usa" the most diverse. The other andean nations "venezuela, colombia, ecuador, peru bolvia" and also Mexico are also among the most geographically diverse countries but not on top 5

@@agustinmontoya128 entonces parece que te falta informarte, Milei a dicho varias veces que sanearia las empresas públicas antes de venderlas por ejemplo Aerolíneas Argentinas tiene un año de financiamiento para poder arreglarlo.
