Was heartbroken for Matthew Wilson when he missed the qualifying time by 100ths of a second in the 200m breaststroke but seeing him make the team made me so happy.
I was surprised at that also. What did he make it in for? It was heartbreaking after that race and the disappointment on his face.
@@pauliloahefaiva6060 I heard he got a special exemption because he was dealing with a family tragedy while at the trials
@@pauliloahefaiva6060 he finished top 2 at trials and made the qualifying time in the qualifying period (started march 1st 2019). Top 2 at trials and QT during qualifying period are the two requirements

While in england sporting a shool blazer took a trip to the Olympics
he won gold at 2 track events 1800 & 1500 and did the 1st Bradbury in Tennis won bronze
he never played tennis the other team failed to show they won on default :)
So is the team official now or can other swimmers still make the team if all the quotas in Tokyo are not filled by athletes from other countries?
