There were more hugs on the pool deck than you see in Collingwood FC club room's, and that's saying something. Why are Australians good swimmers? I think back to the 60s when I was 3 years old, my uncle picked me up and threw me into a pool and said swim or sink. He did that to all the other kids attending the gathering. In today's world, he would be arrested for child abuse but the point I am making is this..Just about every child in this country ends up in a pool one way or another..even though we are a small nation in numbers..we have high numbers engaging in the sport..anyway, enough ranting go you good things... I'm predicting 8 gold medals on the conservative side!
The swimmers come from all across the country, so I guess they want their coaches on hand in Paris. The cost must be pretty high, but I suppose most Australian sports fans wouldn't mind as this team is our best hope for medals.
@@michaelrapson I get that, it's just that when they started naming them, the naming didn't stop lol, I've honestly never seen such a big coaching staff, like the US coaching team for Tokyo were 5 or 6 people, this was more like 20 or so.
