Thank you so much! I was going through red screen of death/power loops for weeks. I've been through tons of tuts and videos and with your instructions, holding the home button after the first step for 20 seconds, I was able to finally connect to iTunes and update my phone. Thank you, thank you! Other videos were talking about opening the phone FIRST and I definitely didn't want to do that so SERIOUSLY, THANK YOUUUU!
For others, with mine I plugged my phone via USB into my computer, had iTunes up and running and followed his instructions. All fixed!

I've also had a different freeze, that isn't talked about much. Phone won't start but simply sits on the red colored battery charging image.
Solution - no reboot no reset will work. Be patient and let it charge for an hour or so. Eventually it will start. This means the battery needs to be replaced else u will this issue and sudden crashes more often.
Another thing with bad batteries - even if phone displays 20% (or even 30%) it doesn't mean it actually has that amount of battery still left. It is based on the original specs of the battery and over time even if u fully charge it, internally the worn-out battery can save only a smaller portion of the charge. Hence u will experience sudden crashes near abouts 20%.
I accidentally dropped my iPhone 6 3 nights ago, and now sometimes it will power on and off by itself but when it powers on , it will show a "grey/white" screen and it will power off again , and will do that 3-6 times maybe before I can unlock it. Can I fix it ? Or what can I do?

Hit the back of your phone it works for me
After shutting off the screen with power and home button, when it stops looping, let go the power button, but keep holding the home button. Then, it goes into DMU recovery mode, then plug it into a pc. I don't know if iTunes can reset it, but from there I used ReiBoot to fix it. you can plug in your earbuds and use the volume button.
Go to Apple store exchange your broken iPhone they will probably give u a new one or make u pay for it and be greedy or u can buy a Samsung 9+ get hacks on it and nothing will happen
Wait I forgot u can get a virus but all u need to do is back up ur stuff and factory reset and put ur back up to ur Samsung s9+ or s9 and you will be alright

I suggest u restore it .just now I restored I lost all my apps but I didn't lose my photos i entered my iCloud ID number all my pictures exist but there is no app it looks like new iPhone if u can by yourself that is ok if can't just go to ur area App Store they will restore it for u and u may pay very small amount .

I don't mind getting a new phone however I do want to get access to my pictures and everything.
By the way I did not back up my pictures via icloud or whatsoever.

My iPhone 6 Plus is in bootloop an I hold on to the power bottom and the home bottom then the volume up bottom for about 5 to 10 minutes my iPhone popped up but if I leave for 5 minutes unattended it goes back into bootloop by itself however my phone isn't jailbreak I just did an ios upgrade an it went into bootloop. Could this be a software problem?. It is still in bootloop right now. Should I force downgrade the ios from 10.3.2 to 10.2.1?
