I've been holding the volume up button since April...
Rachel Noe What you have to do is plug in your phone to your computer and press the home button and the sleep button and volume up button and then your phone should say iTunes recovery mode and then go to your computer and press update on the iPhone section. It should update. This took me about 2 tries and your phone shouldn't be in a loop and then your phone will ask for your password. And now you're set. I hope this works for you :) :)

Your video was awesome except I had to use the volume down button instead. I did a search for putting iPhone in safe mode and half said volume up and half said volume down. Hope this helps !

My phone got stuck at apple logo after installing a jb tweak. The default safe mode was not working so i can't delete that tweak like i do whenever this happens. BUT! Your tutorial helped me alot by activating that safe mode manually!

Thanks for this and good to know that holding the up button gets it into a safe recovery mode. Mine allowed me to put in my pin code twice then a white screen and retirned to boot loop nonsense. Any idea's on what to do next?
I changed the front camera flex and worked for me.

Help! So my phone has been on low storage for awhile, and then I started having problems. My phone would restart, delete and restore all my photos on a continuous loop. Anytime I deleted anything ( I deleted over 700 videos ) , it would never change the storage amount that I had used. Then it started deleting texts, and one day it got stuck in an apple boot loop. My device isn't even jailbroken.

I dented my volume up button inwards would it woke with volume down?
This process worked for me except I did one extra step that someone noted somewhat below. First I did not have the cord plugged in for my iPhone 6S. When I had the frozen apple logo, I held down the home key and on/off switch until the logo went off and the screen turned black. I then held the volume up button for at least 6-8 min but I am not sure that that was necessary. I then plugged in the iPhone to my MacBook Air (I can't remember if I was holding down the up volume key while plugging in the cord to the Mac) and the screen went to the apple logo and I could tell it was processing to the login screen. Login worked just fine and I was able to replicate the login after this issue - it did not return to a frozen apple screen. : )

Hi iDeviceMovies my iphone is stuck on the apple logo screen and i tried force rebooting it as you described in this video. My iphone switched off for a second or two before turning itself back on and was still stuck on the apple logo screen. I even tried pressing up on the volume for 2 minutes and nothing changed. I tried this twice. Today my iphones memory was very full and I tried downloading lots of pictures off the internet but before they could appear in my library I turned off my iphone. Could my Iphones lack of memory and the input of pictures be the problem? How do I fix this?

Ok, for the love of god can somebody please help me. my phone is in what I think is a boot loop and this is not working. I almost gave up hope for this to work. I almost took my fingers off the volume up button. And suddenly it worked. I would really regret if I took my fingers off before and came to know that it would work if I hold it a little longer. Thanks for helping me out man. By the way, I can hardly type with my left index finger. I was using that finger to hold the volume up button for literally 4-5 minutes. And no, it was not an iPhone, it was an iPad 2nd generation with a very thick cover. Man my finger hurts.

Well, it took a while. Maybe about 4-5 minutes. Or even more. As I said, it was really hard, I almost gave up hope, and just then the apple logo popped up. My fingers were hurting after leaving the buttons. It took me quite a bit.

i bought a unlocked for all carriers iphone 6plus off somebody some minutes ago.... before i payed i seen i inserted my tmobile sim card and made a phone call to make sure it worked.... after i seen it worked i payed him and drove off... after i drove off and some minutes pass, i looked at the phone and it was on the apple logo.. then would shut off and then go back on the apple logo... it did this a few times then would turn on completley then SHUT OFF AGAIN and go to apple logo again...its been doing this ever since..... what do i do.. if i restore will it remove being unlocked for all carriers

Ok, I am going to attempt to be helpful. If you are going through all of these videos and nothing is working, here's what I did after 3 days of hell. I dragged my computer out of my closet, booted it up. I opened iTunes and updated it to the most current version. That forced me to restart the computer. Before I opened iTunes, I plugged in my iPad to the computer. Then I opened iTunes, and pressed the power/sleep buttons simultaneously until the screen turned black with a wire indicating to plug into iTunes. iTunes had some pop-ups to enter the passcode and to those prompts I cancelled. I waited for the screen prompting me to recover or to update. Select update so you do not have to start over and you can keep your data.. The computer will download a giant update file. By then, your iPad may have returned to the white screen. That's ok. Wait for download to finish. You may get another stupid passcode prompt press cancel for it. Then, once download is complete (look for arrow pointing down in upper right corner for status update for me the DL took about 35 mins) you can proceed to update your iOS without the passcode. So if your screen went back to white again, with the black apple, press the power/wake plus home button until you get the wire to iTunes black screen again. The iTunes will notice, you may have to cancel the passcode prompt yet again, but then you will get prompts to update the system. It will take about 35-1hour. Seriously. And DO NOT LEAVE THE MACHINE! Stay close by. It will work. Oh and at the end, unplug your iPad once it starts asking you to set up as a new iPad or from a previous backup and do another back up later on when you can. Hope this helps. Best ❤️

My 6s got stuck in apple logo. I did the bootloader factory reset through itunes and it's fixed it already turned on fully working.
My question is what are the causes why the phone was stuck? It can't be hardware problem since its working right now after the factory reset and update through itunes.

Found a better way: With the device powered off, plug one end of your USB cable into the iPhone 6s Plus and leave the other end disconnected. Press down on the Home button, and keep holding it down while you plug the USB cable into your computer. After 5-10 seconds, you should see a "Please Connect to iTunes" image on the iPhone 6s Plus, and iTunes should prompt you to restore the software; follow the prompts and the instructions given above.
