- This was a map I discovered on a viewer map request stream that seemed very intriguing and at first nearly impossible to me, later on it got a bit more labbing though and issy cleared it. Turns out its not all that bad.
The map itself is very interesting to me though, it has a very strong creepy atmosphere with the static noise background and creepy music from one of the final tracks in "everywhere at the end of time", on top of that the gameplay itself also just looks very scary and intimidating in a way, perfectly fitting with the rest of the maps atmosphere. There also turns out to be hidden lore with dialogue that only shows up if you die a certain increasingly high amount in each room and also an entire ARG behind the map with complex external puzzles that lead you to being able to open a locked .piz file hidden in the map folder, but il leave that mostly a mystery for now.

it's like they specifically designed this map to be unstreamable because of all the visual noise. XD
7:25 i think you should make an advanced movment tutorial with stuff like corner kicks and such i remember searching youtube for a while to see how to do things but noone goes more indepth into anything after ultras and thats a bit frustrating having to learn everything manually through looking at keystrokes at slowed down speed.
I agree with this. I'm not a fan of ultra-precision maps, but I think knowing how to do some of the tech might potentially be beneficial to me in the future.

Yaaaay new vid. I'd heard of this map but never seen it, definitely very interesting. Things like static, wind, and snow are high up on my list of favorite things to see in video games, since watching them on stream/youtube hides a lot of the beauty.
Everywhere At The End of Time is eerily fitting for the void of this map lol

This chapter interests me. The arg, the way its meant to be as frustraiting and eye straining, the text that happens if you die a certain amount of times.
I think it may be a visual representation of madeline self harming. The sad music and eye strainy static burn a self hatred feeling. Theres also the part where she cant dash. What once was a useful escape cant help her anymore, like how self harming starts as a coping mechanism and turns into a grueling addiction. If this is all in her head like Farewell, then this could be a symbolism of her mind state of her extreme depressive shut in reaction to what happened to granny.
I also cant help but notice how agressive each level is. As a casual player whos died 400 times to the summit alone, this chapter looks like getting shot. Im assuming thats on purpose.
Unfortunately, there is no video over the arg, as Celeste modding is very niche. I wish i knew the story behind this chapter, its very interesting and kinda reminds me of yume nikki
thats a really interesting way of interpreting the map which i can really get behind, its kinda how ive been feeling about the map but put into words better, i hinted some parts of the arg throughout the video, the final bit of lore dialogue you get out of it is also present in the last few frames of the video but rendering made it unreadable, I might send it here if your curious later when i find it back

I'd like to see a tutorial for how to jump off of spikes - not the spike jumps used to get the winged golden, but like actually climbing up a wall of spikes or jumping off of the top of a platform with spikes on top. I've seen it a few times, but have no idea what's actually happening with it
If you move in the same direction as spikes are pointed they don't kill you so you can just jump off the wall while moving in the direction.
