I’ll give the 3 Racing Platinums I’ve gotten, they are all decent platinums, varying in difficulty. (I listed them easiest to hardest imo)

What’s neat about this platinum is because it teaches you the new techniques near then end, any time you replay this game the entire game is way easier now knowing the things like wall bouncing and hyper dashes

“Way easier” I can’t even tell you how many times I have died because I tried going too fast, especially on golden strawberries
Chapter 9 is very worth it trust me (it’s very long though). This is incredible for a video with only 400 views and for a channel with 1k subs. Keep it up!
And it's quite the jump in difficulty from anything else in the base game

the heart at 24:37 requires you to know the pattern of the birds on chapter 1, and you follow the signs. the left one means you go normally left to right, the second one means you switch the right and left on each of the dashes from the pattern., the 3rd one means you switch the ups and downs on the dashes, and the last one is both.

the psn guide is a 2 with assist mode, without it, its easily a 10. Huge ggs, hard game.
OF COURSE U NEED TO DO CHAPTER 9, it's literally the best chapter of the game, not to mention u need to collect all the golden strawberry too
but the golden strawberry are only if u actually want to go insane, even i with 160+ hours in the game can't think of doing it

Also I made it into the video lol, I guess it was more challenging than I thought, though you had beaten Hollow Knight which is something I’m struggling to platinum.

Don't get me wrong, I ADORE this game. BUT holy moly do I hate the controller controls. I play this game on my pc with my keyboard and I'm not bad at the game. Like I've bet the whole thing and goldened everything (but chapter 9 ofc) and gotten 100% achievements on steam plus have bet the game in an hour and twelve minutes. and on keyboard this game is SO SO SO much better! just look up the thresholds for each direction for dashing on controller. Because they are so so so bad. it feels like the game just hates you and is constantly out to just make you pissed off. And I'm just some 14 year old dude with a pc and a ps4. I can NOT play this game for the life of me on ps4. I bet farewell on ps4 and called it a day. I hate the controller controls man :(

The difficulty of Platinum is 2/10 because it contains Assist Mode, where you can activate invincible mode and you will not be able to die at all.

reflection a side heart is based on the forsaken a side heart dash sequence (symbolised by the crystals) but you gotta invert right/left and up/down as the tiles show, and the last one is full invert
I know die like 1000 times in just a room, so this is a low death count for celeste tryhards 😂

i am an owner of this platinum (not assist mode) and i decided to be an idiot and go for all the golden strawberries which are deathless runs. yes farewell included. im halfway through and about to lose my sanity. yipeeeeeeee! (also celeste is one of my favourite games nest to hollow knight. which i also have the pat for)

When i played Street Fighter 4 on the 360, I'd constantly get diagonal up inputs for Chun Li while trying to charge left/right, i feel that with the diagonals. One match i was trying to do her Ultra 1 and kept just jumping in place with heavy kick 😅

Having gone through all of this and Chapter 9, I watched this out of sense of pity for what you were about to go through. Absolutely well done on punching your way through though, oh, and I was absolutely laugh-crying at the misinputs because that was also my controller. The Chapter 5 B-Side took me HOURS because of bad inputs near the end and I almost lost my mind so I can relate. Great video, man.

Man, i love this game. The music and everything. That even goes for the b/c sides. I understand that they can be frustrating at time, but i feel like it they're still a net positive for the game due to how much post game content it adds. Compared too some games that feel boring after the main game ends because it has nothing to due, celeste has plenty more to try your hand at when the main games ends.
Side story: The platinum only took me about about 15-20 hours, because i had already gotten 100% and beaten the extra chapter "farewell" previously on the switch.
Edit: I think it took me about 80 hours to originally 100% the game, but it could have been a bit lower or longer, just going off of memory here.
this game is definitely special, no other game has made me hate and love it at the same time 🥹

it disables the satisfaction. and besides most people dont get trophies just to have the trophy, its about actually working and achieving it for real. cheating achieves nothing useful

I've actually beaten most of this game with one hand. If you don't count Farewell, then I beat everything but the C-Sides. I only didn't do Farewell due to going in before I had 15 hearts, because it was a blind playthrough.

@@pothebroe Well my left hand was sprained, and I didn't really have anything else that would've been easy to set up for one handed play. The different options for grabbing really helped (Hold, Invert, Toggle), because I was technically out of inputs, and had to map it to R3 on my controller.

If I remember correctly, chapter 6 crystal heart is a call back onto chapter 1’s crystal heart, you just have to do the dash sequence and variations to it depending on the symbol under each torch (normal, reflected, upside-down, then the final one you have to infer being both reflected and upside-down because the symbol is broken

beating celeste is easy cuz they count assist mode i guess. Beating it without is challenging, and 100% is pretty dang hard. And then theres modded. not even close to high level modded and i take lije 2 hours per modded level. (playing advanced sj)
for some reason after i first beat the game, (i play on keyboard using wasd) i couldn't dash diagonally no more. My fingers always tried to go to Q or E depending on the direction😂
My pb on a normal run is 7h 32min but my run with all the strawberries was 19h 47min. That just shows how hard the game is meant to be to 100%
I just want to say, if you were able to take 7c and 8c, you can take Farewell and the moon berry. If you're really a masochist though, you'll go for all 202 berries ;)
As for other platinums you could go for, Slay the Spire has a fairly challenging one.
Did you know that in order to completely 100% the game you need to collect 202 strawberries
But here's the thing in order to do so you need to beat every level without dying once
i like how for platinum you don't need to collect moonberry unlike in steam:/ Anyway on keyboard it's way easier so yeah, GG!
The PS controller D-Pad is really weird. It registers as diagonals way too easy if you hold straight but happen to clench and push lightly up or down :/

you should really do chapter 9, weird that it isnt a trophy on ps as on steam it was, and it really wasnt that hard... only much harder than anything else in the game, the whole chapter only took me 24 hours while all the rest of the game combined took like 45 hours
