That is the first time that I know that these motors can drive a 116 grams plane, a single motor at full throttle will make a 13grams of thrust both 26grams, a simple calculation this plane is flying with 1/4.5 weight/thrust even with those undercambered wings that create lots of drag.... amazing
It has been 40 or so years since I built gliders. I was flying a hang glider at the time. I would use fishing pole blanks since they were tapered which made for better aerodynamics. They didn't have the mini rc units back then, and we had to use standard batteries.
1:45 ..this is called the first stage of a “live hinge” once you’ve done the top with tape you’re supposed to fold the control surface over and flat, this is where an identical length of tape is used to secure the first. Fold it back straight again and you have a “live hinge”
He is using two CW timed motors but with a CW and CCW propellers, so one of the motors is going to have a much shorter life. Also, one deeply geared 8520 would fly this with thrust to spare on a much bigger propeller, if there weren't other issues. This entire build has problems; the wing has far too much undercamber, and the stationing of the RC components could be better. You could mount the servo mounts under the wing on the stick fuselage, the battery should under the fuselage tube to get the C/G lower. I would have used a light, freshwater CF fishing rod for the fuselage, this 6mm CF rod has too much thickness and weight for what little work it's doing. I only say this as someone who scratch built a 36" WS, stick type RC model using balsa, iron-on film and an old CF fishing rod using the lightest parkflyer RC components available back in 2001. It flew great.
Excellent work my friend, you have worked hard and deserve to play with your fantastic design. Keep up the great work and have fun! Take care and stay safe, Joe
Look for a motor designed for 1S or 2S battery with a kv rating between 1500 and 3000. (1S will need a higher kv and vice versa for 2S) The lower the kv the larger the prop can be and the larger the prop, the better the efficiency will be. Props are cheap so I recommend trying a few but 6x4E should be good to start with. There's many other things you can consider but dont agonize too much over it. Those numbers should get you started. Jus make sure to use a prop saver to spare your motor shaft and bearings as well as the prop in a crash, and look for/print a mount suitable for your motor since outrunners can be tricky to mount otherwise.
Hello Sir, I really like your video on aeromodelling and also wanted to learn a lot of things from it. I have a request for you if possible can you please make a full video from showing the modelling in 3D software and building it from scratch and tips and tricks that you learn from the mistake you made. It will be really inspiring for you budding engineers. Thank you!
good work. mostly. 0649 put servos NEAR the cg.! not aft-of it. wing chord length could be about one inch shorter. this type of wing should be mounted with a couple degrees of positive angle of attack/incidence. 0714 it is recommended that a couple degrees of sweep be used at the horiz-stab leading edge. 0758 put the mass of the battery BELOW the fuselage. because doing so helps to keep the location of the center of mass (c-m) low.! 0804 the tail should be made as light as is practical. instead, heavy CF has been used for the tail boom, nothing has been done to minimize the amount of mass in the stabs, and because the MASS of the servos is NOT optimally located. stabs will still work fine, if some material is removed from their area. CA should be wicked-into the joins in the elongated pushrods. 1143 the distance between the stabs and wing could be increased by about one inch. this distance determines how the pitch and yaw moments from the control surfaces couple with the main wing. there is STILL a significant amount of tail-heaviness in the model's distribution of mass (dom). (see mass-related issues enumerated above.) it is not clear whether the main wing has been mounted with some positive aoa, as it should be. at link (lower drawing), compare the elevation of the leading edge of a clark-y profile, if/when the lower surface is absent.

nice build. well shot video thanks for sharing
Wonderful work, brother! I love the look of how this plane flies! :)
Thank you so much! It's fun to fly 😁

So Satisfying Video.
Perfect making beginner RC plane vid, I will use 1010 motor on 2s is much better flying :D

Bro you made all the planes perfect 😊😊😅
If you are using the cheap toy helicopter propeller with gear box, flight time as well as thrust can be increased. Very good build.... 👍

Always love a twin, just never seen one exactly like this! Very nice 😊
Well produced video and great airplane design!
Many thanks!

High quality build 👌 👍
Thanks for the thumbs up!
NICE
Thank you for valuable video
Ok that was awesome 😂 it flys really well!
Nicely done 👍👍👍
Nice build and good plane.
Please make: Mini Lazy bee whith motor: 1104 or 1103.
Thanks!
Nice work, cool music!
This is incredible. How to make a triangular cut in foam?
You nailed it 👍👍
Excellent work my friend, you have worked hard and deserve to play with your fantastic design.
Keep up the great work and have fun!
Take care and stay safe,
Joe
Thank you! Cheers!
How about differential thrust?
To do that motors should be more far apart😊
Yea also bc they are nose mounted and anyway ailerons are cooler
@@KruzRaleigh With this much undercamber in the wing, ailerons are going to be worse than useless. Especially when using such tiny propellers
great video. can you give me a link where you bought the esc
Amazing build video 👌
Thanks 😁
Bhai is me 8x20mm cordless and 400mah lipo battery usekar sakte hai
Very appreciable🎉
Bravo - good build!
Hey, from where do you buy these foam sheets ?

You are real hobbist , wow! 😊
Thank you so much 😀
very nice, would u sell the plastics as a kit?
very nice
very interesting video, may I ask if I want to use brushless motor what configuration can I use?

Will you make a 3d printed ornithopter with of the shelf electronic parts?
WOW POROSTU BOMBA
Hi. Brilliant video.
What is the length of the 6mm carbon tube?
Carbon tube D-6mm, L-500mm
What is the length of the 6mm carbon tube please?

Nice ❤
Nice!
Can you power this plane with 3.7V 900mah battery?
Could you indicate the size of the motors (diameter, length)?
Thanks
I would like to know how to make a remote control airplane circuit from a mini remote control car. How to please
BRO CAN YOU MAKE A FLYING WING USING CARDBOARD?
*Bhai, ye machine kitne ki aati hogn?*
