All the boat chores to be done by the crew when guests aren't aboard are fascinating to me. Seeing all that's required to maintain such a vessel is great. Thanks so much for sharing, and I look forward to the next installment!!
So much work. It never stops. Thanks for watching 🛥️🥂
Hence the common saying *Break Out Another Thousand - BOAT 😅
@@davo1093 One thing I heard from another yacht channel, Super Yacht Captain, was expect to spend 10% of the yacht's value every year on crew, maintenance, fuel, etc.
It is nice showing the crew working. Especially all the hard work that goes on when guests are not there. Just because they are crossing the Atlantic does not mean it is party time. Continue with the great videos.
Let us know what you thought of this episode! In the next video we sail from Gibraltar to the half way mark of the Atlantic !
Was awesome!!!
"oh we had a big storm -- here's NO footage of it". Just pretty dull video overall.
Blair you come across as more relaxed/natural this time. Which was great. Wish we could see more of the daily duties of the crew in future episodes
really interested to see what the Atlantic crossing looks like, I imagine it's an awesome journey
Way better than that stupid "reality" show on cable. Ideas? So many.
hey Blair just wanted to let you know that the long videos are really amazing to watch, keep it up🎉
Looking forward to see the travel …. X
Every time you hear "Epic" do a shot..
Hahaha nooo 🫣
Really calling out Blair and Captain there 🫣
You're scaring me, and I barely started the video.
❤
As I stare down half a century of living, this video is another reminder that I missed my calling. Thanks for sharing!
as a retired navigating officer i always really enjoy your videos. big fan of your channel!!
Thank you so much for your support! I'm glad our videos resonate with someone with your experience. It means a lot to us! 🛥🥂
Nice to hear what some of the crew are up to on their holiday and good to meet Captain Ben. Great teamwork by the crew doing the crossing- you really can see the pride in their hard work to make Loon as beautiful and shipshape as she deserves. Solid content Blair.
So awesome to see so many South Africans on board 🇿🇦 🤸🏻♀️
I agree, so awesome. 🎉
you are like the "Below Deck" without all the producer introduced drama like having a Tumi or a Kyle on your boat. You guys are always super-professional and informative, while respecting the privacy of the guests and crew!! Well done!
Very polite energetic crew , great to see hard working kids 🏁🏁🏁🏁
First time I catch a vid from the crew’s pov and I found it extremely interesting. The level of comradeship that has formed with you folk would be an addition to any organization.
Thank you for sharing your time with all of us ,All of you work so hard to keep everything looking new, Stay safe while you are all crossing and i am looking forward the next episode.
SO... WELL... DONE!!! I'll say it again, it's like watching your favorite weekly TV show!
Thanks Bubba! We look forward to your comments each week 🛥️🥂
I think there is a perception that people might find things boring, but the boring details are the things that us plebs might not know about so that is our interest in them. Cheers for the vids.
Truth.
❤
I really enjoyed the beautiful drone footage of the sea and the yacht, the crew banter, how seriously everyone takes their work, how organised you are, how many South Africans there are on board and the behind the scenes technical aspects especially the cooking.
Thank you guys for sharing part of your crossing the Atlantic Ocean. I hope the weather will be good!!!☺
When I used to live in west palm I loved going over along A1a and looking at all the yachts. Wish I was still there to see yall
Such a pretty spot
Galley looks amazing! Fries and chip butties! Thanks, Andrew ( Florida)
Great to see so many South Africans working on super yachts 😎
Too cool!! Thanks, Blair, for the great work! Feel like I’m there without having to do the work. I had no clue about the sanding of the teak but it makes sense!! Can’t wait to see the next video-the crossing will be so exciting to see!! Woohoo!! Nina’s meal looked delicious and I wish I was there for the fries!! Just incredible!!
It was delicious 🤤
Good thing, the captain did the crossing several times already. So he knows the way and wouldn't get lost... 🥳
Point the boat west and take a nap 😴
The ability to make ocean crossings is an absolutely essential feature of any yacht I would build. It's great to see behind the scenes of what is involved with that for the crew.
Thanks for watching Peter. Stay tuned for our Caribbean season starting soon 🤙
Really interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes of a crossing. Thank you for keeping the videos coming.
Love it! A bit of the; practical, maintenance, reality and fun of a crossing.
Just subscribed everyone. Such an amazing concept. This is how real documentaries used to be pre-mainstream. The owners must be so chuffed you are doing this
С удовольствием смотрю ваши видео. Благодарю. И счастливого пути.
Sean seems so chill and a fun guy! I bet he is a hoot to be around.
Enjoy !!
Safe trip and hope you have a great winter.
love the way you can see 2 saffers interacting, that dap was clean!
Great to follow the Atlantic Crossing. I always like the technical parts of the videos.
Every Loon video is amazing. Well edited, quality drone shots and always showing the crew and the yacht in the very best light. I can hardly wait for your next creative video.
I get goose bumps every time I watch this. Such a lovely boat and such great crew. I wonder how long it takes to find a crew who all get on so well, I'm sure it would usually take a long time though as many of you are all from the same place its a bit easier. I would love a 1 on 1 with all crew to know them all a bit better (maybe too personal for some), would love to know who is with who and stuff. Cant wait for more footage of a long trip with sea all around with no land in sight. Take care everyone.
These are great videos. Its a lifestyle i will never be fortumate enough to experience first-hand so to watch such in-depth content is bloody fascinating. Keep up the great work guys and gals.
What a COOL TOUR guys! 🎉 Awesome crew with awesome aspirations and talents. Your team rocks!
I do so love croatia. miss it a bunch
Hope Sean gets those Rakis aligned ! 🎉
This is awesome! It is really amazing what a professional crew is like compared to a regular boat owner. Of course the scale is much different, but testing safety equipment is something I should do more regularly too! Thanks! I would like to see a little more about the navigation. The straights look challenging but I would be very interested in how the navigation equipment helps with currents and heading. Thanks again!
Great episode! You all look like you have a lot of fun together.
She is a beautiful vessel with an awesome crew.
Love these behind the scenes videos.
Good luck with the crossing Loon crew. Hope you have a safe journey ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you! 😃
They already have. They've been in Florida for several days already!!
I love watching your videos and short stories. The crew really all work together well and are always happy.
Thank you for watching 🛥️🥂
This is a very interesting, gives insight to what goes on while no guests on board. Safe passage, look forward to seeing next installments.
Love, love everything that you put out, can't get enough. Great work ❤
Fair winds and following seas for your crossing Loon!
Blair! Great content. Have been following you guys around the last season and it is special to see what vibe your yachtlife content brings the viewers. Keep it up! For the next season, I really really liked it when captain Paul kind of gave other big yachts their moments with some good shots and some information about them. As a yachtfan I thought that distinguished you guys from other yachtcontent. Looking forward to the next one!
agreed. I love that we get to see different yachts in the videos from Paul.
So happy to hear that you’re enjoying it !
I’ve been lucky enough to charter , mostly Bahamas and US northeast . I always marveled at our crews but you guys are amazing . I really appreciate what you do to make your guests have a vacation of a lifetime .
These videos are a joy to watch . I’m addicted . Keep them coming .
Thank you mark, we love what we do and bringing joy to our guests.
Any chance you’ll be chartering us?
Loving the footage can't wait for the second half😊
Great video with the understanding of the hard work the crew do. Have a safe crossing.
The word of the day is “Epic”.
Thanks for the video really interesting to see all the hard work that goes into yachting with no guest.

Thank you for watching and the encouraging comment. We love filming and producing these videos each week 🛥️🥂
I just did a Mediterranean cruise and got to go thru the Messina Strait also. Really nice. You guys will be in my back yard of West Palm Beach.
The Yacht from Inside ist beautiful Not like the others where it's just a matter of finding the most expensive thing that doesn't fit
These are super cool to watch! You guys do a great job!!
Great video looking forward to part 2
Love all these things, would love to see what each department does exactly for a crossing, also would absolutely love to start seeing a lot more on navigation and what all you do with that actually showing us on the Nav screen? More on traffic separation you talked about and showing us more in depth pleas? Thank you again!
I really loved it Blair , great work .
Just saw you guys coming inside palm beach on the sun deck. Glad you guys had a safe trip!!(Black shirt on dinner boat)
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
What a team 💫 can’t wait for caribbean content! another awesome video!
This is a great video! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for these videos. It is so informative about how it is to live and work on a yacht. I would love to see a day in the life of one of the crew. From sun up to sun down. I think that would be so interesting.
We’re going to do day in the life of a few crew shortly. Stay tuned 🛥️🥂
You guys rock!
Great - love the content off charter
