Thanks i made one using your videos. I was buying few equipment that was costing me over $400 and with your DIY videos I safed lots of money. I wish i can add the picture so u can see it. 😃
Awesome 👍 Please contact me on my blog: www.fighterdiy.com and I’ll respond from my email so you can email it to me. You can also post on my Facebook page: m.facebook.com/reedykewlus/
Love all the vids my guy! Haven't made it yet because every other week you have an even better version😅besides that ,love your work, would love to see a stand which can turn into a reflex bag as well as a sparbar (2 in 1), keep up the good work👍
You're very welcome! Hope your bag rocks!!! I haven't yet started doing shoutouts, too busy with ideas. Possibly once I ease off the gas I'll start doing some.
Hahahaha your ideas are so awesome!! I use my old expensive reflex bag (you have such great cheaper alternatives) with pool noodle arms attached with a old hand wrap for added hand pummeling/ wrestling/dirty boxing drills - all arm drags var./all control ties, duck unders, snap downs/throw byes from collor tie & wrist, elbow, bicep ties/plumb on the ball itself - snaps to chokes/knees to head, loading throws from the ties like over under/dble over/whizzer/pinch grip variations with the spring is awesome / & the body is also bigger noodle folded & taped for front/side/back, spin back kicks/knees to mid, body shots with hands ect. I have a old yoga mat rolled around the base for oblique kicks, low side kicks, shoe toe kicks with 2 thai pads on each side for low rnd kicks to the side of the calf area. It's my most used gem and I have lots of other choices, even a $1300 Adam plus wall takedown DUMMY. And this is still my favorite i use daily. So yeah I'm a big fan of being creative and you think like I do for sure. I appreciate that immediately about you brother. Great stuff you are sharing here!!!! I saved and spent allot through the many yrs I've been at it. That said: if I had your type of ideas 35 yrs ago oh how I would of appreciated your reflex bag ideas back then. I had a 6 inch round PVC home JKD/jun fan dummy on a base like you made here with wood arms inside slightly bigger PVC cut outs going through- I used a whole saw glued them in the pvc and the wooden arms with dowel through to keep the arms in also easily came out. That was 25 yrs ago I lost it along the way through moves and training priorities I'd like to do that again only an updated version for mma. I miss some of those drills. I've had this original ringside double end for many yrs and like I said I modified it for mma, I'm looking for a new reflex bag as I don't want to unmodify mine now, but honestly I'm so disappointed in the selections these days, I'm waiting for Garcia to sell their new model. Since I'm tired of waiting and now I see your great ideas I can now get on it. Your updates are only getting more and more awesome! All that said your money saving great ideas are awesome and you make me want to build off your great ideas. Thank you brother. Thanks for the spark I needed. Thanks for sharing all your cool ideas. Sometimes the cheapest things can bring you the most joy. I cant wait to put a few of your toys to task and play with some variations off your awesome ideas. LETS GO!! HAHA thank you brother! This modern prison in our homes b.s. is getting me fired up. I needed your spark of creativity to get my juices going again. Great ideas! Thanks again bigtime!
😲That’s totally off the wall awesome!!! I’m about to start a Fighter Training DIY group on Facebook. Would be great to have you on board to share your stuff. I’ll keep you posted. 🤙
@@Kewlus Sadly, I've not been on Facebook for several yrs for reasons (my lady understandable didn't like all the girls that were friends from my youth coming at me a couple were a lil inappropriate ha I wanted her to know she's priority so less stress on my soul haha ) but definitely keep me posted my man. I just may reconsider. With her blessing maybe I could open under a different account or something just to be part of that awesome group. You definitely got my attention brother. That sounds like my kind of group. Thanks bigtime and definitely keep me posted on that one. That would be awesome!!! :-)
Thanks for the vid! I made the reflex bag from your previous video but PVC pipe is taped on both ends. Do you recon it’s possible to make the pool rings around the pvc pipe and fit the two long pool noodles in? Cheers
Great stuff, Reedy! I am working one of these right now. Do you put slits in the side of the plunger and then tape the ball on top, or just tape the ball on top? Also, you mentioned on one of them to reinforce the plunger with a funnel. Does it go inside the plunger, or the other way around? Does the wooden stick end of the plunger go down inside the PVC, or do you remove it and just use the rubber end taped to ball as the sole support? Thanks again, these are so fun!
Thank you. In the latest design I use just the top part of the plunger and trim off some of the rubber to make a flush connection with the ball. I have the PVC pipe go into this rubber seat. Over the top I reinforce with a funnel. The funnel goes over the top of it all. Good luck 😉 👍👌🤙
I’ve got a couple of versions happening: Hardcore - thin layer of foam over the 40mm PVC pipe; and Softy - reducer bush to a 25mm PVC pipe with a pool noodle over it. Hardcore has more weight behind it and more momentum. Softy is lighter and faster but less momentum. Both unreal!!!
@@Kewlus I'm very interested in making a spar bar, make sure the video is idiot proof for me LOL. P.S Just taped over the broken bog plunger to fix my reflex ball. Been beating it like a runaway slave with upper cuts and it's still going strong.
Not a bad idea! However I have come to the conclusion that using a PVC pipe is much better than using a spring for many reasons: way cheaper; can adjust power and speed; and much simpler and easier to build.
Pretty damn good! This design will let you slip a punch and go to the body. I can imagine the variations.
Damm Hollyy I love this guy glad I found him
You’re a genius
Nice! Can’t wait for the pro spar bar video!

Bro this is inspiring, I run a boxing fitness gym in California, just shared to my students, thank you and keep up the good work!
Wow! Thank you! I'd love to see something like the heavyweight reflex bag used in a boxing gym. Let me know if you ever set one up in your gym!

Sounds great, I hope to tackle this tomorrow. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
I followed you instructions up to the serrated knife, then i cut my finger off, what do you suggest id do?
Use duct tape to tape it back on
With the spar bar could you put a foam roller on the end? You'd need to core it out.

This is awesome
Could the body on this bag either the pool noodles take some heavy muay thai kicks? Or would that make it all crumble?
Kicking it is not going to crumble it but it feels much lighter than a standard bag
@@Kewlus thank you mate
