I ended up going with the Soundbomb Mini. I wasn’t sure how/where it would mount on the Tuareg 660, so I opted for the tinier footprint. Looking forward to seeing how the SB mounts up to the AT.
All mounted up. Just put a post on Instagram. Mounts on the side behind my crash bars. Uses a bike specific mounting bracket. Pretty slick way to do it.
I've been heading into a couple of the forest roads around my house as well and I also reached a couple impassable areas in the snow. Let me know if you're going out after Giant loop and we can go together to try and get past obstacles like this. Pretty sure you live real close to me!
Good call on not crossing snow solo. The reality is, snow has magnets built-in that pull big adventure bikes quickly down to the earth. Ask me how I know.....

I wonder if it's open up in Hood River. I rode around Goat Mtn last weekend and got stopped by snow. It's probably lower than the Detroit area.
You should do a review on the bomb. Have dork unknowingly walk in front of you with a beer in hand and blast it. 😂
