Straight up dead ass tight “ live” performance! All comments here are correct, the fact is EVERY player in this band is a total pro. As all bands from the Superb/ small/ thriving almost secret Tempe Az at this special time ( 88-98, peak 90-95) The Refreshments practiced their ass off, and also gigged several nights a week. This performance where not a single note, chord, or beat is missed, was the norm. The only time this band ever faltered was when Rog ( singer/rhythm guitar) got too jacked up and broke a string on his Strat! Sometimes that happened a few times a night. lol Especially after Dead Hot Workshop opened for them!

I remember cranking up the radio when hearing this song in the late '90s as I drove home from work late at night. Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy? Sounds a bit like Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy. Never heard of that? Look it up.

Did not discover this band till the later 2000’s when some guy at the beach at the campground we were at had this big speaker box hooked up to a car battery and this song came on and I turned to a friend and asked him who is this?
And he says don’t know but they are pretty fucking good.
Well got home from camping and me and ITunes were busy for awhile.
Wish I would have saw them live.
It’s always the most underrated bands you catch up to later.

I was a junior in HS when this came out and remember liking the song but I sort of forgot about them. Heard this song on the radio the other day and I was like "oh yeah, I remember this!" so had to come find a live version...wasn't disappointed. The 90's were pretty rad. Everything since then has pretty much sucked.

I should have checked out more late night talk shows. Beastie Boys (Sabotage), Ann/Nancy Wilson with the Foo Fighters (Kick it Out) on Letterman and this absolute beaut on Conan are some ridiculously insane live performances.
