A couple of thoughts...1) If they are both virtually equal options, you really can't make a mistake, no matter which one you pick. 2) I can almost guarantee that this will make no difference to 80 y/o Peter...the only things that will matter to him are big earth-shattering decisions/events over the course of life. Regarding this, (if he remembers it at all,) he might say, "I can't believe I stressed over that!" Take care!
I worried throughout yesterday that this comment seemed almost unkind and dismissive of your concerns. It was not meant in that spirit. I was just sharing some input based on a lifetime of having anxiety over decisions. You are doing great, man!
Thank you! I appreciate your worries but don't see your comment as dismissive, I think it's 100% fair and sometimes we need an outside perspective to help us see the larger perspective. You make a great point and I agree. I think the decision always feels grander in the moment, which is why zooming out helps... as long as I actually do that perspective shift 😄
