Okay a year later and I finally pulled the trigger as I found a US distributor. I cannot wait to get my hands on her! She looks fantastic in the skies and on the ground. Still a bit pricier than I would like (would prefer a $550 price point) but you do get what you pay for in this hobby so I totally get it.
She looks like a winner! I've had my eye on this one since it was released. I wish there was a US distributor selling this beauty. Nice flight and video!
dont u just love gliders its something about free flight that is addictive...even if u have the emergency motor to lit and get height.......look how well a foam glider flies...thats crazy the g forces and its still in one bit...i fly with carbon and am afraid. great u managed to program the T16s as its the way to go.....i am still stuck on futaba for my big gliders but have used radiomaster for all my helis...slowly changing as i think futaba is way too expensive and falling behind in technology now. nice flying skills
Hello Andrej. Thank you for your great video's of the Lentus. I have a question regarding the elevator. There is just a little up movement. How can i adjust or improve the up range of the elevator. Can i remove the Rudder to mechanically change something? Or?
Hi. You have to detach the pushrod from the elevator and then turn it counter clockwise (this way you unscrew it a little - it gets longer - more up elevator). Please try that and report back if it worked - It has been a few years now since I have assembled mine, so I am not 100% sure.
Nice video , thanks. I just bought an rr one, had a cularis before. Just wondered, did you use the recommended 11mm elevator up and down movement and was it enough in flight as I couldn’t be bothered to take the decals off and that’s the max movement I’m getting.
better to have the motor on a 3 position switch and the croco (brakes) on a stick. You can try also the reverse looping: it does it easily! Really fantastic glider!
Everything is stock that comes with the RR kit, except the recommended folding propeller blades for 4s lipos: www.hacker-motor-shop.com/Air-screws-and-accessories/Folding-propellers/aero-naut/Aeronaut-CAM-Carbon-8X6.htm?shop=hacker_e&SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=10618401&p=1960 I am using a Turnigy Nanotech 4s 2200mAh 45-90C lipos. I have never checked the flying weight of my Lentus.
I've made just 5 flights so far with my Lentus. SOLIUS: more nimble, aerobatic, especially on the roll axis. LENTUS: more options for the flight optimisation (thermal mode, speed mode, crow brake, ...) as it has flaps, better thermal performance, larger, much nicer look in the air. I will be able to tell more in the future.
@@AndrejSturm Dear Andrej, I remember you had an Epsilon XL3 as well. Because of your Videos, I always had an eye on that plane. Now I have one :-) . Is there any chance to compare the Epsilon with the Lentus?
Absolut tolle Videos die Du da machst. Mein Kompliment. Du scheinst viele Schaum e Segler geflogen zu haben, deshalb hier die Frage nach bestem Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Tippe auf volantex asw 28, was sagst Du?
Ja, imaš prav, tako bi imel boljšo kontrolo. Bom videl ... tako imam nastavljeno zato, ker sem tako navajen že od nekdaj in se mi zaenkrat ne da navajat na drugačne nastavitve.
It seems like you haven't owned a Multiplex foam model? These really are a cut above the rest, and the RR versions have top notch motors and ESC's in them. I have the Funray, the Funglider, the Heron, the Twinstar and the Easystar. I've been flying my Easystar for over 8 years now, and nothing has failed. A friend of mine feels pretty much as you do, that Multiplex models are way overpriced. So he's bought several cheaper ARTF's. And servos, receivers and airframes have all failed in one way or another. I get nothing like that. And if you want to sell a Multiplex model, you'll have little difficulty doing so, as they have a solid reputation.
I sure love the whistling sound of a glider slipping through the air. Beautiful Andrej! - Lauren
Hi Lauren. Glad you enjoyed it!
Greetings from Slovenia 🇸🇮
That was a very nice flight, really enjoyed that, smooth take of, nice flying good swoosh noises and a buttery landing
Glad you enjoyed it, Julian 😊
Hi Julian! :)
@@RobisonRacing68 Hi lauren, hope all is good with you
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I have a Heron, but I'd still love one of these..... The sheer efficiency of the airframe must be high indeed.

Where did you get it buddy? I’m thinking to get one . Thanks
Uff, ich brauch ne neue Schaumwaffel !!! Besser kann man das Modell nicht in Szene setzen - super geflogen und sehr guter Videoschnitt !!!
Great video to watch with the beautiful scenery as well . 👍✈ . ❤ this video .
Thank you very much 😊
Hi, nice vid 😊. Could you share your TX configuration file ; I'm interested in how you configured your flight modes with opentx
Thanks

It is. The shipping from Europe is probably very high, right?
@@AndrejSturm Yes correct and at the price point it's just too much for me to pull the trigger.
who are they?
Magic...Lentus 🛩E-Glider😉🌠🌠🌠
nice flying demo! did you tape the Hinge gaps ? i think most of the whistle comes from the small gaps on the downside of the wing
Hi, thank you. I did't tape them.

Dear Andrej, you also have raised leading edge of elevator by 2mm as is shown in one of german video?
I didn't changed that.
It's that scenery that's priceless. Did you get the PNP or kit version?
Mine is PNP.

You are right, that way I would have more control over the brakes.
@@AndrejSturm I use engine stick for motor or crow ( change on switch) - very easy in OpenTX.. Crow on stick is very useful.
Nice purchase Andrej! What Rx are you using in the new Lentus?
Hi Andrew,
I am using the Rx from my Staufenbiel Epsilon XL3: FrSky D8R-II PLUS.
After long thinking , i orderd one to . i fly a lot with the Heron & Solius and love to fly them ., 😎✈ i hope it is as good as you are showing 👀👍😎
That's great 👍 Good decision!
I am sure you will like it! You'll have a nice collection of gliders now 😁

Yes, it's a great thermal glider, better than the Solius - which is good too.
Tell me what is the difference in flight between Lentus and Solius? Best Regards

Yes, the performance/price ratio is very good for the ASW28 indeed. The same is true for the Multiplex Solius.
Beautiful.
hi, nice vidéo. Do you use 4S or 3S batteries ?
Thanks, I am using a 4s 2200mAh lipo and 8x6 CAM prop.

Ist der lentus so Viel besser als der volantex asw 28? Preislich sind das ja Welten
The Lentus is a little too expensive for what you get ... it's a good plane though.
I don't even own it and I can tell it's worth the money. Great video and great flying!
It really is! Thank you 😊
How many Cost that plane?
