    Shame a lot of the tracks aren't well kept all year round, hermitage and the mast hill are pretty sad looking these days

      As all the trails are entirely built by locals in their spare time, who for obvious reasons have limited time for trail maintenance, the introduction of the Tayside Trail Association and the legitimisation of the trails, should hopefully lead to better trail upkeep. Until there is actually financial investment though from the government or local community it would be difficult to have everything well kept purely from volunteers.

    Not great for the people living in the village though! with the pressure on parking etc.,

      Surely the local authority should embrace, build a car park somewhere suitable and enjoy the benefits to the local economy? The overwhelming majority of the mtb community respect the environment and those living in the area. If handled properly, everyone can benefit.
