Ive always liked the buick ,disclamer ,i sold them in 98,99,00,01. Listen buick , the cars should all be premium standard ,no options. Dont charge a premium price for a premium car and play pricing/profit games with options. Hyundi and kia made there brands putting there best foot forward on all of there products and levels of cars. Dont make people pay for the nice leather in the top trim do them all wright . Trim levels are for chevys, toyota , fords. If you want to run with the premium cars ,witch i think buick could build them all the best you can .
Yes, do those beautiful headlights keep from fogging and go in yellow? Have you fixed the leaking sunroof? The starring has been replaced in my 08 3 times. It still is ruff.
nice job buick but for the exterior i actually love my 2014 enclave more but u did a great job on its size ,engine and interior my advice: a car weigh more then 2T deserves a v8 engine that produces more then 350 horse power and u should have kept that classic watch&beautiful tray for cups
I currently own the Buick Enclave and am looking at changing vehicles. With owning a 2011 the middle seat is very uncomfortable to the point that again I am looking at a new vehicle. I am 5'4" and it is so uncomfortable to sit in the middle seat that I refuse to sit in the back. Thus I hope that Buick is/has looked at this issue. I also love luxury thus the new Buick would have to have heated back seats and a heated steering wheel. The navigation system is not very user friendly. Yet on the positive side it drives amazing in the snow, is quiet, and very reliable. I prefer to buy American made so I hope that the designers have looked at their competitors.
Overall, looks like it could be a good hit for Buick. In the livery / limo space, I think GM is trying to phase out the Chevrolet Tahoe because if you really need 3 row plus luggage for all passengers, then the Suburban and the like are still the only way to go. And if you're going to have to have a "kiddie" 3rd row with no appreciable luggage room, then you might as well get some better fuel economy. Hence, the Traverse and Enclave getting larger for 2018. Related, is it just me, or do the 2nd row captain's chairs look a bit flat where the tookus meets the leather? Looks suggest reasonably comfortable, but not something that's great for a bumpy ride in the northeast, where potholes are plentiful.
I was really hoping they would move away from that egg shape. Kind of disappointed that they didn't. Seriously, who out there thinks a giant rolling egg is a good look for a crossover SUV?

I was expecting Buick to debut a 4 cylinder turbo as the standard engine. That seems to be the 'in thing' among car makers now-a-days. Also, why they can't get more than 300hp out of a 6 banger eludes me. I think this would be the 3rd version of the same displacement engine with the same hp (+/- a few ponies).
Tully3674 GM's LFX and now the all new LGX 3.6L V6's have had more than 300HP for quite awhile now. This Enclave is making 302 or 305HP (can't remember exactly). The V6 in the Camaro and CTS makes 335HP and the V6 in the upcoming Regal GS is estimated at 340HP. 300HP is perfectly adequate for this crossover (especially considering the last generation was 350lbs heavier and only had 288HP).
im sure they could get more if they wanted but it would probably effect emissions and that is the big thing now. besides their 3.6l engines are very competitive if you compare them to other manufacturer engines with similar displacement
less chrome the better, especially once it starts getting inside. I had a 2010 Malibu and the chrome would somehow always catch the sun and throw it right into my eyes. my '17 Civic hatch has exactly 7 pieces of chrome, 3 Honda badges, and each vent has a tiny piece on it and 2 pieces of stainless steel along the windows.. I appreciate the lack of chrome.
If the chrome hits you while driving then in that case I completely agree with you, but if not I don't see much of a problem, other than the fact each person has different preferences.

The acadia is getting about 19mpg don't expect much better this is bigger.
