Beautiful collection of quilts!!! Beautiful memories of your mom and your love for your dad. The world cannot have enough quilts and cross stitch and all needlework!! God gave us all this creativity!!!
Enjoyed spending time with you and seeing all your beautiful quilts and the memories of your mom and dad. Have a wonderful weekend and happy quilting 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I have loved watching your quilting videos over the last several days. It is so wonderful when Riley makes an appearance! What a cutie. Love your quilts, your videos & your sharing. ❤️. You have inspired me to get serious about getting quilts done & ‘quilt whatcha’ got’. 😉 thank you so much!
Hi Bonnie, Oh my mouth is watering after seeing all of the beautiful quilts you have made!! This was a very inspirational video. I make quilts for clients so don't have a lot of time to make what I want for myself. As always I love the good stuff at the end.
Your quilts are beautiful. I have several of my Grandma Smith s quilts that are from 50 and60 s or earlier that I have done or will get done in time. I also do hand quilting. A lot of the tops are also hand pieced
Bonnie, your quilts are amazing.... almost amazing as your stories... I love that you are you and you share so much of yourself with all of us. My daughter and I were talking the other day and she says my online people are not real friends because I don't know them. I was happy to show her your hand written card you sent. And I can tell her more about the ways you and I are alike than not alike... I shared that I gave you the pattern for Oh Christmas tree, (and I don't often share with many if I haven't stitched it yet) so Yes!! you are my friend and I love as you as much... You're mom was right... you are stronger than you know and I am stronger for knowing you and selectively calling you my friend.
It’s so funny that my son is now laughing at me because I have real friends through this video Ave he! He said ‘now you understand how I have had friends this way as well!’ Yes, we can have real friendships this way that we would have never had the opportunity to meet any other way! Thank you for your generous gift to ME!
Bonnie, I love your quilts! My Quilt Mentor always tells me that if your are not agonizing of picking fabrics, your not doing it right!🤣 so sister you keep agonizing cause yours are stunning!
The best ever TH-cam. As a quilter-I loved and appreciate this video. You have inspired me to get using my civil war fabrics. Tks for all the work you put in your youtubes. More quilt videos please
Bonnie, your videos are such a blessing in my life, so Thank You!! Your tears are collected in Jesus hands, I believe He gives them to your mom as precious pearls, of the way she is and always will be loved. Jesus I see His arms spread open wide holding you, then He says Bonnie, your using the strength passed from my hands along to your mom's hands and from your mom's hands to you. With every piece of fabric, and stitch you then are sharing them with us. You see you've taken the best from the ones you love, and made it Joy never the less! You are strong, determined and a" scrappy" child of the King. We are all better bc you've shared, not just needle and thread but the awesome stories of challenge and victory along your journey. The ultimate victory that Jesus has given to us through His blood. Thank you for all your wonderful memories of your mom and dad, also thank you for sharing Jesus. The thread that runs consistency in the life of your family is determination and persistent love. Thank you my sweet friend. Choose JOY never the less. Hugs, Pamela
Bonnie..... oh how your video touched my 💔 heart...it was by chance I viewed this. As I thought it was a Xstitch video.. Each page you shared, of what your Mom wrote blessed me... Thank you for your open heart & love you share .... ♥️🌹 Your quilting is stunning!! I love your mini quilts... I have several... and one log cabin cut out hand pieced ! But not completed, I do not have a sewing machine , so all I finish , even my small Xstitch pillows I hand finish. I may challenge myself to pick up the mini quilt & try to finish it. Your Mom is still your influencer ♥️🌹 her influences exude from you Bonnie. Love your little Riley 🐕♥️ Ty again for my heart is encouraged & my soul is uplifted.. Blessings ~ Bonnie 🙏♥️Sharon Ohio
Just found your site! Love your quilts. We have the same taste! Have inspired me to dig out some Jan Patek WIP that I started probably 25-30 years ago. And I have to do that pineapple quilt! Pretty sure I have that book!
You made such an important point about keeping notes as we're doing projects because as life happens, we can be interrupted, sometimes for years, and if we've kept good notes, we can figure out where we were and where we were going with the project. Loved your mother's notes that you shared with us -- so precious to have that little notebook.
Your quilts and stories are beautiful! My first and all time favorite quilt was a flying geese quilt using mostly thimbleberry fabrics. I avoided appliqué for one simple reason, I hated using straight pins, but I love and can appreciate all your fine work. I loved your video, glad you found your dog. 🤗. P.S. My mother is in the final stage of dementia. I feel every emotion with you.
“Alright, we’re getting through the pile, I can see the dog now.” 😂😂😂. OMG, that comment made me lol and gave me a flashback! Years ago my neighbor called and asked if I’d seen her 4 year old daughter. I hadn’t. She then called a nearby school to see if her daughter had showed up there…..she hadn’t. Frantic the mother searched the neighborhood, inquiring with everyone she met with no luck. Panicked, she returned home and found her daughter sound asleep in a pile of laundry! 😂😂😂
Sometimes it’s in r Brick and mortar stores, up more often it’s online shopping. Fat Quarter Shop is the most recent Jo Morton purchase with her new Rose line. I bought Hopewell either there or maybe Missouri Star Quilt Co. I also find Etsy has some beautiful fabrics. There’s a website called quiltshops.com that I’ve used in the past, specially when I’m searching for an older line. You just use their search engine and it takes you to various shops around the United States. I’m always looking for sales and it’s easy to find the. In that site.

Jan Patek has such a fun style and I love her colors. I was gifted a few of her older patterns and its fun to dream of what I will do with them.
Simply beautiful quilts! Quilting is therapy for the soul. Have a good weekend!

Oh, the pain of this miserable disease. I’m so sorry and I know how hard it is.

Oh my gosh! What a story! Yes, my poor Riley is getting used to being piled under fabric and quilts…he’s so patient with me!
