I love your videos! We're approaching our 80s and are slowly decluttering and simplifying as well. I am stressing over finishing all my cross stitching patterns while I can. My daughter has no interest in stitching but thankfully my younger sister also cross stitches so I told her all my stash and flosses etc will be hers someday. She is thrilled.

I am also the “sensitive one” and since my mother sat me down to tell me I am also strong I have been going from strength to strength. I still need reminding and just yesterday my friend had to tell me once again. We are daughters of God, and He will ALWAYS look out for us on this journey. He has done so far, so I have no reason to doubt He will continue to care for me. I am writing this before the end of your video….and you just said what I was just saying. I knew we were kindred spirits as soon as I saw your first video way back when.

I just found your channel and we are so much alike it blew my mind!! We too are trying to develop a less is more thought process after accumulating almost 3 years of stuff. Stuff I love. I too like to buy and collect lol. I like to go to second hand stores and use old things I find there for finishing. I have several large plastic tubs of those things🙄 . My craft room looks horrible. I can’t get in it to craft because I’m re organizing it lol. We too want to sell and move to a lake house here in Texas. It’s been our dream but as retirement looms close it may not happen. I agree about the political agenda you’re referring to completely and I knew the economy would be right where it is but didn’t dream it would happen within less than a year in office. I love your pieces and how you fit little family reminders in the boxes. You gave me some ideas. Can’t wait to watch more!! You have a new fan!

Now I hear he’s going to target our retirement plans . But I’m trying to learn to calm down about it. God has this. It doesn’t mean it won’t be painful in the process but He’s got this. I’m thankful for our community of stitching. I’m sad things are changing and having to buckle down but hey, how many supplies do I need anyway. As my grandmother used to say, Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without. I’m trying to learn this lol.

Yes, I think I need to fill in the home that was drilled wrong because the lid opens wonky. I have a small piece of wire that would work for a hinge and be strong. I loved how the box turned out so I do plan on trying to save it.

It’s the Nelson Study Bible in the New King James Version by Thomas Nelson Publishers. One of my family’s mentors recommended that for me and now we all have one
Bonnie, we’re not second class citizens. We are citizens of God’s Kingdom. We’re the Kings daughters. Precious in His sight. Nothing can take that away from us. Not only that, we’re so precious to Him Christ gave up his glory to become man, live the life we couldn’t and then paid the price we couldn’t pay and clothed us with His righteousness. It matters not what others think of us or if they think down on us. We are His! Your work is beautiful once again. Love how you’re will to experiment with things and make them your own. I think maybe opinionated people are more will to do their own thing and create beautiful things. Til next time.
I love the whole down sizing idea. I don't live in a big home and still I find as I get older less is definitely more. The little cabin sounds wonderful. I do hope you show it when the time comes that it is all done!

A toothpick may be small enough to use on the box that has the broken lid. Love your finishes.
