Every time I look for some issue on your channel, honestly, I'm blown away at what I learn which puts me at rest to what I was afraid of before. That's bcoz I do not visit any, any dr.'s. They scare me in such times as now. Keep up the good work 'coz we need you. 👍and praying for you🙏

What I can understand from your lecture is, I may have consumed glycated protein and I almost became a chain in the last year and a half. But I tried to maintain low sugar and keto diet on and off during that time. Do you think following a strict keto will help me strengthening the abdominal muscle?

This type of Hernia is called an incisional hernia where a hernia develops at the site of the incision. Your Mother's doctor may have believed that it was a fluid-filled sac instead of a recurrent hernia. I am currently in the process of recovery from surgery following 3 groin hernia's, 2 of which were unable to be diagnosed by clinicians here in England or even ultrasound. They found them during the procedure as I had discomfort on my left side as well as the right.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe we are being lied too. Our bodies are amazing healers but it can't heal a hernia? Even if you push it back in and found a way to keep it there our body couldn't close up the abdominal wall? Yeah, listening to some of these comments I’m surprised that Dr. Berg didn’t recommend long-term water fasting, I mean that politely not in a snarky way. But maybe it’s too much physical damage to the musculature in the abdomen for long-term fasting to have an effect? I’d be curious if the good doctor has an opinion about waterfasting in regards to healing up inguinal hernias. It just seems intuitive to me, though that water fasting would reduce our sugar intake, of course, reduce glycated proteins, as well as create stem cells that could create new muscle down there, especially while our abdomen is shrinking and pulling the small intestine back in as it shrinks, at least that would seem to be how it would work to me.

Just recovering from TRIPLE hernia repair on Mar 10th so this info is rather timely for me. Not sure if it's accurate for my case as the resultant herniations were a combo of years of exertion and injury from sports and martial arts combined with a congenital abdominal issue that runs in the family (my grandfather, father, uncle, brother and my oldest son ALL have the same issue). I now have a titanium mesh installed from hip to pubic bone across the bottom of my abdomen. Being a keto/IF/carnivore has REALLY helped though. Thanks for the info Doc. 💪🏻🥩👍🏻

Did you basically have a prolapse then? I believe that a bad prolapse with hernia and seriously scared of having surgery again like when I was child. I can’t even work as a driver because of this. I’m almost out of money now, & if I don’t get approved for food stamps I don’t know if I’ll be eating for much longer. I can’t pay for my auto insurance. I’m so screwed I think. I don’t know what to do. I’m crying now. Someone, anyone help me!

    • @WireHedd

The only prolapse issue I had was bladder related and they reset that and everything else was still pretty much in place but "exposed" through the torn fascia and fibres. Get it fixed cuz they don't "heal" unless there's actual medical intervention.

Dr Berg can you do an updated video on umbilical hernia? My doctor is recommending robotic surgery with mesh for repair. I’ve never had a hernia before but 4 months ago one came out and looks like it’s getting larger. I had abdominal surgery with vertical incision from the belly button to pubic bone for a hysterectomy. I had this surgery 10 months ago and I think it contributed to the weakness in this area.

@@kibwamijohn1974 Stop eating gluten. If you eat fiber that makes you bloated, stop the fiber. Sugar is not your friend at all. What can you eat? Carnivore. Take shepherd's purse internally and also soak a piece of cotton in shepherd's and keep it all the time in the skin over the hernia.
i also took pills, it is called Hernease by balanceuticals. Very useful. But if you don't change your diet and pair animal proteins with sugar or high carbs, you won't be successful.
