You gotta remember that OW's gameplay is much more fast-paced, and so the voice lines need to be louder and more powerful sounding
Also the fact that niki uses a downloaded video of valorant ult voicelines that cut out everything that make the valorant ults good, aka the echo. 90% of the Overwatch characters in these keep their echo while Valorant is stuck with zero echo entirely

The echo does so much btw. Why are the Overwatch voicelines echoed and the Valorant ones arent? In game, enemy voice lines are echoed.
because niki just uses a downloaded valorant ult voiceline video to get them, which cut out everything except the voice while the Overwatch ones don't cut the echo out. I have stressed this every video that he needs to get how the ult actually sounds in game without just downloading a video that cuts out the echo
Overwatch is more fast paced and has allot of sounds going off at once, so the ultimate voice lines need to be loud and iconic in order to allow proper reaction times. There are echos on the voices for valorant though I played it when it first released. That being said overwatch voice lines are still louder because so much more is going on at once. Valorant has more breaks and slow pacing because of this though I find the valorant voice lines more impactful because it will be quiet all of a sudden you hear the valorant ult line and your like "oh shit"

FR. I can't stress enough to people who just take these videos at face value instead of doing anything to see if that is actually what they sound like. I play Valorant and it kills me everytime when i see a comment saying something like "Valorant's voicelines completely suck, like why tf does it sound like that?" and i go in there and explain that the audio is from a downloaded video that cuts everything out of the voiceline except the voice.
Honestly overwatch almost never misses with their voice acting. Their characters all sound so good and unique. One of the things that they still get right even with how much of a disaster everything else has been.

With ow you can hear the character personality through their voice lines val on the other hand doesn't hit the same the voices are just plain and boring

All OW voice lines also have added reverb, which makes them sound less “stock”
