Andy Fraser was 15 when they formed.
Looks like the audience doesn't know what to make of of it? Love the raw simplicity. They were one of the best of the blues rock bands no doubt.
The audience look so unimpressed, like they came to see somebody else play but Free just happened to be there. Anyone know what this performance is from?
Incredibly Andy Frazier is only 18 years old here. What a player ! What a band !!
I did not know that.
just turned 18 about 3 weeks before this gig!
@@thomasmccormack1183 I think 16 actually
This is a burning performance. Nice mix that highlights Andy, who is an underrated groove machine
Man I could not imagine being able to see this live performance. Incredible.
Bravo ⚘ a favorite voice I've listened to my entire life. Paul Rodgers icon in music for generations to come. Thanks 😘
Hi I just wanted to thank you again for being so supportive and following me on my journey. I love inspiring and encouraging others. People like you help me to keep showing up! Hope you are having an amazing day❤
Amazing performance. Very Cool Gibsons. Didn't realize the SG Bass could sound so rich and funky.
Oh My Word! Unbe*******lievable! I can’t remember how many times I’ve listened to that track and it is still the best live anything that I’ve heard. And then you have the live version of Be My Friend which is a great ballad…this band could do everything…Guardians of the Universe.
Super heavy!. Love the bass. The guitar solo is absolutely insane!. Awesome!!. A lot of talent on that stage right there.
One of the Best Bands ever. Awesome. Still love ❤️ them.
All four members at their absolute peak in this session. Unequaled by any other band.
Free, my favourite rock band of all time! Sadly I never got to see them live but I had the privilege of seeing Mr Rodgers on several occasions, the ultimate gig being on the Free Spirit tour, sheer perfection. Koss is still and always will be my top guitarist, Andy was a unique bass player who influenced my bass playing tremendously and Simon a solid, tight and no nonsense drummer, exactly what the band needed. Thank you for this superb video.
One of the best bands ever!! How on earth R they not yet in the R&R HofF ??!! So sad we lost Andy Frazier & Paul Kossoff..RIP. So glad they went on 2 form Bad Company..but I miss Free alot..
What The Fuck have I Been Missing all these Years?! This is absolute musical ecstasy right Here!!!! Andy Fraser laying down a groove for the ages and Kossoff just flyin' on that '59 Les Paul. What an amazing band is all I can say after seeing this. Mind is officially Blown!
This is what TH-cam's all about. Where else are you going to see these guys perform an awesome bit of rock?
The pure passion of playing
Hard rock blues.
Especially that Bass. Love it!
What a bsnd - I've love this bsnd since the early 70's. Four great virtuoso's who grew together but couldn't stay together. Andy Frazier so soulful and funky. Enjoy!!
The awesome power of this band is undeniable. Just 3 pieces and one of the greatest R & R singers. I can listen all day.
LOve that guitar aria...will always be a Free fan

There is no such thing as seeing this too many times.
